  1. WOW COOL!!!! Nice work....I am bias as I own a real Matador!!!
  2. I did licensing in the hobby field in the 80's and 90's. Licensing went from copyright protection and liability protection to a PROFIT center. When Harley Davidson announced it made more off licensing than the selling of bikes.....it opened the flood gates. Sample....Goodyear went from $25 a year fee, product sample and contract making Goodyear free of liability to the per item fee and a much higher fee overall.....why Revell Monogram dumped Goodyear of their products. Many manufactures saw the HD deal and figured they all could make big bucks. They failed to take into consideration that HD was much more iconic and had a base already willing to pay......but the maker of a auto paint flopped in the licensing/marketing game. But the HD deal opened all the issues we have today with licensing.
  3. God bless your family!!! After 8 grandkids and the twins due JAN....I can wait!!!
  4. MY 2016 F-150 has no CD player just a AM/FM radio....but has a place to plug in my phone....so ALL my music is on my phone now and I have Bluetooth speakers in both workshops now.......no radio here so not much else to do.
  5. I bought 2 CD's this week. Yes' Relayer and Going for the One. I have both on vinyl but wanted to load them on my phone.....digital download was about $10 each or mint used CD's were $3 each.......I like owning a hard copy.
  6. Well done!!! I have built maybe 10 of those kits....not easy but some out nice if you take the time.
  7. People that can work with skilled hands own the future. My family has a trucking company. All the mechanics are 50 years old or older but one. They can't find good folks that want to WORK. A huge shortage is coming and the skilled worker is going to be the one making well over $100K. I'd be proud.
  8. I have no issue with composite bodies......I like the traditional methods but production cars are going that way so what do you do??? The spec chassis is going to happen per many of the contacts I still have in NASCAR from my 20 years working in licensing/manufacturing. THAT and spec motors ARE a issue for me. Much like not keeping score at a kids ball game.....making all things equal as long as you have cash is not going to help. Imagine F1 with spec chassis and engine??? Yes F1 has regulated much innovation out but at least each team still has to build their own cars. I hope for the best...but doubt that NASCAR is trying or wanting to keep me as a fan. They want a new demo....
  9. It looks like a new tool Coke machine too....with decals for it...70's style.
  10. I've seen Greenlight packaging with a Dollar Tree 4 for a $1 die cast placed in the package, taped and returned.......scum
  11. Sorry...Artesania SAN JAUN Galleon kit....War is a plastic kit I have. thanks
  12. I have the Man O War Galleon I was thinking of getting out ....maybe this Winter....
  13. No logic to tool a 2019 Mustang now.......the car will be 80% new in 2021 and even then I don't see it. The price the Elliott Chevy SS kits are getting they could make a little cash on it before that too is gone......I know it ain't a Camaro but demend is still there. Kit had a short run.
  14. Nice work!!! I have that one in my 'to do' stack.
  15. The real and only Elanor........warts and all.
  16. Was hoping for Unreal Roller.........
  17. Just cool!!
  18. A few points......... Per an interview on Race Hub the manufactures are working on bodies to submit to NASCAR so there will not be ONE body. This is getting very close to a SCCA Trans Am spec car. NASCAR just needs to say so.....the SCCA has better ideas. The cost savings comes from laying off MANY folks in the shops....not lower car cost. Sad day in Mooresville in 2021 (many fewer fab and body guys and gals) Those alloy wheels would not last one lap at the Rpval and got to be a lot more costly than steel wheels. . I'll take a wait and see. But it starting to sound like a IROC series and I'll have free Sundays in the future.
  19. Please tell us...I wanted one myself. What was the HL price??
  20. Super clean work...and in that scale!
  21. Kinda figured....but thought you'd like to know the official name!
  22. 3D printing a body will not work for mass production. A body can take 12 - 14 hours to print plus basic clean up. For R2 to make money they need like 3 bodies produced a minute minimum.
