  1. Some artistic license was taken. Terry builds on commission and happy customer is job one. The other side of this is the current owner of the 1/1 Malone trucks asked is they could use it on their site.....so they approve too!!

  3. Or maybe late 50's early 60's????
  4. Prayers to him and all his family. Very sad..... Mom was very ill for two years.....she came to a point she gave in.
  5. He used all the kit supplied decals.....but the royal blue must be painted AND must match supplied decals!!!
  6. My SoCal buddy started this build when I was there last Aug.......just finished it up. Terry does not do internet as he build on commission most times. But he said it'd be fine to share this one.....Paint took 80% of the time to build.....really hard paint job to match up with decals. Enjoy
  7. I had/have all the documentation to prove my case for this guy stealing all my work.....his order of my sheets, USPS tracking numbers......decals bought from him showing they were my work. But the difficulty and cost......much less the most valuable thing time, would again be more a moral victory.....just the way thing work.....now prove $500,000 in damage....you might break even.
  8. Suing someone after you no longer make the product AND you are no longer in business would be a very expensive victory for the right to say 'told you so'......damages would be nill and thus the win would be only a moral one.
  9. Bingo!!! I screen print my whites so they stay bright white......He just puts my decal in a photo copier and sells them like that....pure junk.
  10. R&D sued Estes and parent Tower.....they had deep corp pockets and sold the copied items internationally. Taking a law suit against a cottage industry will not go as easy......I know my decal catalog has been copied by a guy that sells them on ebay and even getting them to step in is most difficult......a suit even more so and costs a lot more. Having my hard work copied is not something I'd wish on anyone. But I can see taking an out of production item (vintage AMT kit or a resin kit) make some improvements and casting it. It's a very gray area when someone casts an out of production item be it a aMT kit or a Modelhaus kit......where do we draw the line???
  11. I really really hope so.......I bought a junker back 2001 for $60......I want a mint one. I have mint Serpent, SnoSkeeter and GeeT
  12. What's really bad is I have the LN7 kit, EXP kits and kinda would like a real LN7......not because its cool or good looking....but because it is neither!!! How many have you seen in the last 10 years??
  13. Continued good luck to you and yours.
  14. Some great craftsmanship there.......your cage work looks super.
  15. Know Tom since 1984 when we met at Toledo NNL. Tom gives great service.
  16. I still have my Technics system vintage 1980 I bought from the JC Penney stereo dept. Remember when every store had a large stereo display??? My turntable needs a belt and they still sell them....just have yet to buy one. With so many hours of music loaded onto my phone it's hard to turn records over every 30-40 minutes.......
  17. I looked into the Bug based version back early 1980's. One of the better fiberglass kit cars. But kids and life got in the way.....
  18. Dare to be different!!! I like that forward lean windshield.
  19. I have a set done by 'Scale Models by Chris' but they are a different version and pretty sure are no longer available. Only Pinto version I know of.
  20. I like those front wheel spats......makes the build!
  21. If you compare the Beer Wagon to the stock Monogram Macks you will see Beer Wagon is more like 1/32 scale as a stock vehicle. A common trick when building showrods.
