    I got my production kit today.....pretty happy with it. Not perfect but once built the exhaust softness will go away. Overall a great addition to our hobby.

    We could be related!!!! My 46 'in progress'......I have a mint IMC for the 46 parts to add to the Revell kit......somefay!!! Your 1/1 is a little more finished....but I'll get there....only had it 11 months.....

    I got a big package of cheap poster board, 3M spray glue and some new #11 blades. I am building structures for my O scale 1/48 model railroad. Last completion......printed paper over poster board......'kit' by Clever Models.....

    WOW....great work!!!!! Elmo holds a place in my memories.......his garage was a cinder block two car shop just off Tryon in Charlotte. Very simple place but made about every race he entered. As teens we'd drop by mid week and they'd allow us to look at cars and talk some racing. Elmo and Frank Warren we two good guys that worked hard to make a living in NASCAR. Thanks for sharing!!

    I brought up the insurance thing in an early post but that was pages ago.......it will be worked out...doubt we will ever know what happened.

    No inside info here on the Revell tooling........But from my Analyst days at a worldwide bank......China feels anything tooling wise done in China is , in the end, owned by the state.....or they have a lean on it. It's a complicated quasi private and government partnership that is troubling at best.

    Mine is standing in for a Jag of the same era. It's Mad Max Fury road vehicle. I was just noting that they are still out there on the secondary market. Post some pics of your builds.......I'd like to see. thx

    That kit has been sold as Entex, Revell and Minicraft....maybe others. I think it was a Hubley originally. I have gotten them off the auction website for less than a new retail kit sells for. I got this one a few months ago for $12 IIRC....

    Prayers to you and your family. I can't say I have been there......but I had a major issue a few years ago and went from active independent guy to wheelchair bond Dependent person overnight. So hang tough, don't feel bad when you ask for or need help......I am sure you lent a hand when you were able. A guys ego takes a beating sometimes when we have major changes like this. I hope for you the best.

    Cool stuff!!! I was in N scale in my younger days.......Started with a Revell N scale set!!! I have moved to O scale 1/48 so I can still see my work!! These are On30....
