  1. Should be easy to find the box on the net......But I have run a hobby shop or in kit manufacturing for more than 30 years, never seen at show, shops or ebay. I've won many a bet with folks over kits they think they have......like years ago folks saying they had a 76 Torino kit (we do now but not in 1980) only to bring it in and it was the JoHan 72 Torino. I myself hope you are right and can find a box picture.....as it would give me a new 'grail'. thx
  2. Eden in that episode of Andy Griffith show was, and still is, a benchmark in my noticing women!!!
  3. I'm pretty sure you know that's not true......... But after 30 plus years working in the industry at every level from retail shop to kit manufacture.......... I've seen projects pushed by one or two individuals at a company just go away when those folks are no longer there. Being pretty big flops I don't see anyone putting their neck on the line anytime soon......it will be a while before new plastic runs in those molds. If you know different please share. thx
  4. The only mass produced plastic kit of a Mustang II coupe / notcback was a 1/16 scale Entex kit back in the 70's 80's. No 1/24 or 1/25 coupe was offered.
  5. The number I saw dumped at Ollie's I doubt we will see them in the Revell catalog. Plus the folks that backed that project are no longer at Revell.
  6. Funny how your mind recalls things differently than what really happens........I've seen Poppins 100's of times....my kids wore out a VHS when they were little!!!
  7. Didn't she have a line in that film??? 'feed the birds'.....
  8. I caught the last half of Merrier on TCM......seen it many times.....love the part were Jean, cold cream covered face, slides to a stop when she notices a new room mate!! Good stuff
  9. No it was Jean Arthur......from the war time movie 'The More the Merrier'.....this little gif is just so........cool....
  10. Impressive!!
  11. Another over looked favorite of mine
  12. I have the Surf Woody 1/64 with vintage mini box from same series. Kinda cool
  13. EASY.....for me........ I like Jane in 'Somewhere in time' even better!!!!!
  14. It's packed so I can't check........is there a California Sunshine version of the Datsun.......something like that....
  15. I'm not a gun nut.....didn't own one until I moved to this VERY rural area and someone in power hinted about dis-arming..... But the fact 99.9% of folks here that can legally own a gun DO does not bother me..... There was a story on the news about a rural Texas town that had 3 times more guns than people and they had no crime.....but almost required kids get a info / safety gun course. Kinda the way it works here.
  16. My very first car was a Darsun PL411 sedan......ugly as heck and just as tough. You can tell Datsun bought a Falcon to study!!! Love more Datsun models.
  17. If I lived in that house........I'd be in jail shortly..........many of those activities shown will get you shot in WV!!!!
  18. Best Matty stock build I've seen....
  19. SAD.....that's what
  20. Correct...... But....it's the same chassis used for the showroom version....same for interior bucket....just substitute showroom side panels, stock seats and dash. Check the chrome tree.....stock grille along with racing version on white/gray tree. The thinking is a 3 n 1 kit COULD be a possibility by opening gates and very small amount of engraving / repair. Include both interior side panels, seats etc. Engine block same....just include both stock and race accessories. A wild dream for sure....but thinking outside the box ( pun intended) may be what is needed today.
  21. Harry......
  22. Karen Valentine!!!! That name has not crossed my mind since I was a teen.......she is still lookin good as I remember...thx
  23. What chassis mods???? I think I have every version.....am I missing one?? thx
  24. My Matador is a 30K original miles from NC....so it had an easy life compared to a car from up North!!! I drove a 1964 Bug in college......freeze in Winter.....fry in Summer!!! it was about 10 different colors....no bumpers....each corner dinged up good.....but for next to nothing it got me through!!! It would walk out a plug now and then.....points came apart once.....fixed them w/o tools on the side of the road in the dark!! Brakes failed and I still drove it for a week until pay day using the E brake,,,,,,which worked well!! My kids had great cars when they hit school...... SORRY for the hijack!
  25. I still don't know!!!!!!
