  1. Don and Carol are true assets to the hobby. Met them in 1983, first time, and buying ever since. Top folks on every level......
  2. Sean does a good job.....the Hudson Convt is nice too.....
  3. I bought the kit.....like it.....don't really care what 'model' it is.....will make a neat modified build.
  4. I've built a few FnF cars in scale.....I have a GTR for the blue car Paul had in one of the films......
  5. Watched from day one........still a Mad Men fan....and Breaking Bad....but no it's done it's MM and WD....few other shows I watch every week. Season final was tough.....I liked the character that was killed off...... (not to spoil too much)
  6. Used to watch every week.......after the episode where Stewie and Brian were locked in the vault......a REALLY bad episode....I kinda stopped. Early stuff was funny....no so any more. Seth has gone very dark.....and not a funny dark. I think the Brian thing is much like Louis' death.....not real.
  7. I like your spin on the Stoogie!! I was so happy to get this kit back. I had a mint vintage kit but never had the guts to build it....plus I had too many ideas on how to build it. I bought a case....but only 1.5 built yet! I did mine in a Rat style. I changed a few things, like you did, but it keeps the original flavor. That's what is so kool about these kits....they are so open to mods!!
  8. I did the contest thing big for many years. I traveled all over the East and then some to enter contests. When I got a 2nd place at the Hot Rod Nationals at Indy I figured I had done all I could do.....plus contest building had burned me out....I wanted to put the fun back in. Only NNL types shows now.
  9. Agreed......the 55 was nice....but the design of the 1/1 and the way it has been captured in scale.......a much better looking car IMHO. I want to build a retro street machine....but have to finish a special build I need to do first.
  10. Just because you can....and you have the cash.....doesn't mean you should.....
  11. Nice and Neat....my fav!
  12. Monogram is thr only ones I know of. They made some early 70's that were generic and later 80's era that were name drivers....the same time they did the 1/32 snap NASCAR kits IIRC.....all were 1/32 scale.
  13. Very nice work!!!
  14. Been asking for the VW bus series for a while......hope they happen!
  15. Carb work is the hardest car part to get someone good to work on. I'm fair but my twenty-something son is better than I. We have done 100% of the work on our 66 Mustang rebuild.....
  16. These early kits are production kits air freighted in. So the kits themselves are 'on the water' . When will they land at distributors depends on a few things Moebius has little control....but well before Christmas I'd hope.
  17. The first photo is of the MPC 1/25 scale kit Californian custom based off a Toronado IIRC. I have the kit but not opened it in years.
  18. The more I see those...the more I wish they were still around. Cool....
  19. PURE Industrial design goes.......... PRR T1 4-4-4-4........the S1 was more Buck Rodgers but the T1 was built in numbers and worked for a living. The S1 was a single display loco that didn't run on 90% of the tracks in the US...... But this Lowey design is my all time favorite....cars included.
  20. The series of Monogram curbside sports cars. Porsche RSR and 924, Triumph TR7 and/or 8, Mercedes coupe, Ferrari 308 GTB (?) all with parts to do both versions offered. (stock and racer)
  21. I like most of the TD kits.....but while in So Cal I saw the Paddy w/figures for $35.99.....a hobby shop error or what not sure....hope it was an error. I like the kit w/figures...but bought 3-4 last time for much less. My way.....
  22. Yes...a good deal....but shipping was more than the plastic sheet!!! I had a plastics dealer in Charlotte when I lived there.....no shipping fees!!! that was a good deal!
  23. Fiero Mustang II Monza Toyota Cavalier Datsun P/U Late 70's Camaro.....forget which one....was milded in blue Those are the ones I have.....
