After watching the video, I now know what an extraordinarily good job you did of capturing/replicating the real car. I have got to keep my out for that Aoshima kit! Great model of yours Andrew.

Is there a build thread, or do you have any shots of the interior work that you did?

Missing or lost parts
Bill Eh? replied to Sidney Schwartz's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
My Revell request took only two weeks from submission to arrival in my mail box. -
I've been slowly working on converting the Revell '55 Chevy Bel Air Street Machine 2 'n 1 into my take on the Tom Daniel Badman. At some point, I misplaced the hood. How I did this, I don't know as the size of the hood makes it fairly difficult to lose. LOL. Two weeks ago today I got in touch with Revell using their online portal. I told them the part number needed and took a picture of and attached the UPC code from the side of the box. They responded within a day of my request and told me that it would be shipped free of charge, and that it might take up to six weeks to receive. This is what arrived in my mail today:

Would I be correct in guessing that this Hamlin kit is moulded in white and that the Truex kit is moulded in black?

Does anyone remember which year this happened? A friend says that it was the late 90's. I do remember travelling to Detroit for this show. A Chevy Nomad was given to each attendee. I can't remember if it was the AMT '55 or the Revell '56. Tim Boyd did a demonstration of the then new Iwata Eclipse airbrush. He was fogging in the bottom colour on a Mako Shark.

I am not an avid poster. Once in a while I see a situation where I might be able to offer some advice or assistance, and I do so. In most cases, that assistance is acknowledged and appreciated. It a few cases, not so. I find it better not to expect anything, especially from OPs with low post counts.

", so didn't actually add to the stash today." That's an excellent demonstration of restraint, something I'm usually not capable of! LOL

Dehydrating in my Ninja?
Bill Eh? replied to customline's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
When you purchased your Ninja Foodie, did it come with an Owner's Manual? temperature below 110 should be okay. -
Thanks Jim. It is a good thing that my mid month income arrives in the bank before my next planned show attendance ! LOL

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to travel, as a passenger, with my long time friend and road trip buddy. Our destination was the Kingston Modelrama NNL, in Kingston, ON It was a great show put on by Kingston Scale Auto Model Club. There were many excellent models on the tables, even including a section for some AFVs. My favourite Kijiji seller, from London, ON, happened to be vending at this show, and of course was my first stop once inside the venue (well maybe my second stop, LOL). I kind of went a little overboard on purchases of wheel/tire sets and kits. It was a great time. The next stop will be 19 days from now for TORCAN 2023 at the Century Gardens Recretion Centre, Brampton, ON. Oh, and my favourite Kijiji seller will be vending there as well !

Too Many Resin Projects contact and order procedure.
Bill Eh? replied to R.J's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
You're welcome. Yes, as far as big shows go, he had a lot of product on the table at the NNL East. -
Ismael, your Badger 200 kit looks pristine and unused. The price on the box is killing me. Only $29.95 for a Deluxe Kit! Think of how old the compressed air in those cans of Propel must be! LOL The Badger 100 SG looks to be in equally good condition. Both of these airbrushes are great purchases.

My Kijiji purchases that arrived today from my favourite seller! My favourite un-supercar, supercar, Tamiya 1st generation Honda NSX-R! The very brief fan car in F-1, Tamiya Brabham-Alfa-Romeo BT46. This is not the fan car kit, which is offered by Fujimi, but rather I believe the followup car. The forever purposeful looking Fujimi Porsche 930 Turbo Enthusiast kit. The very clean lines of the F-1, Ferrari 642, with the bonus being it is a Rosso kit. the Fujim Skyline 2000 GT-B was a much appreciated bonus kit, included by the seller.

Late to the party on this response. For those only interested in kits: 18:25.

Three colours available: white, grey/turquoise, or wood black/dark brown. I bought the wood black/dark brown. It was listed online as unavailable at my local store. Supposedly the only colour available was white. I had white loaded on the cart, and as I was exiting the aisle I noticed the name Alex in different location. Read the label, and sure enough it was the same unit in the colour that I really wanted. I now know not to necessarily trust the online availability! LOL My next project is to make row dividers out of foam core board.

I bought my own belated birthday present from Ikea, after first stopping at Canadian Tire to replenish my supply of Super Clean. The unit from Ikea has 3 top drawers that are 18" x 24" x 3", and 3 bottom drawers that are 18" x 24" x 4". The bonus is that it has casters. This should accommodate all of my 10 mL bottles of paint (small Tamiya + Mr. Color).

Crazy, wild, Box art designs
Bill Eh? replied to H.A.K's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
You're right Dan. Quite often these were reissued versions of Fujimi Enthusiast kits.
