Two 1969 Shelby Mustangs GT500 Conv + Hdtp
Phildaupho replied to Rich Chernosky's topic in Model Cars
They both look great in Lime Pearl especially with the mountain background. -
Two great looking Mustangs. Well built. With the backdrop they look real in some of the photos.
-
Very attractive. I especially like your choice of colours.
-
Excellent model car building.

What did you see on the road today?
Phildaupho replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Great photos Steve. I lust after them all but I really the last one which is a Fiat Topolino EV. -
Those 3D Beaumont parts are very impressive
-
Gorgeous and extremely well built.

You have really captured the traditional look from the days of the little page car mags. I really like it.

Great looking model. This kit is on my want list but unsure I would be willing to buck up if one became available. -

All the best to both entities and all involved. I have been a subscriber to Model Cars magazine since it was still Plastic Fanatic and hope it continues to publish a print magazine for many years to come. It appears the forum started in 2006, and I am surprised I did not join until 2009, but it has been my go-to ever since. I have tried other forums but this one works best for me.

Thanks everyone for your comments which I really appreciate. I enjoyed this kit and highly recommend it to anyone interested in the C8.

Great to see your Phaeton again. It is hard to believe six years have passed since you first displayed it at Deuce Days in Scale 2019 !!

Looks very good to me. I wanted a first gen Javelin for a future Trans-Am project but must have clicked the wrong box and got a 3D AMX kit which actually looks pretty good. I still want a first gen Javelin though.

Thanks guys - The main drivers for AWA's Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R are Orey Fidani who owns the team, Matt Bell and Lars Kern, who team up in the #13 car for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The car races in a black and gold livery for the IMSA races. These drivers won the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona in the GTD class. They did complete the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans - 9th in class and have earned a spot on the grid for the 2026 Le Mans.
