  1. Great collection of builds! Nice variety, and all really clean builds! Sam
  2. Kevin here is a link to my post on the wrecker. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/111043-scratch-built-1941-ford-coe-wrecker-finished/ Sam
  3. If it were my model, I think I would make it a UPS truck, delivering car parts on my "Dad's Garage" diorama. Or maybe Fed-Ex. Sam
  4. Hey, all. Here are my 16 for '16, gathered at the ice cream stand diorama for photos. The campers are scratch built. The 41 Ford wrecker is a resin cab on scratch built frame, bed, and boom. The Model T truck has a scratch built body. The Cobra is a rebuild of one I built in the 1960's. Jaguar is a metal body. Fun builds - all of them. Sam
  5. Excellent work on all those models! I really like the A-100 pickup and the Model A roadster! Nice work! Sam
  6. Excellent build of a very unusual subject. The finish is perfect! Great work! Sam
  7. Some of those old Lindberg kits lacked a lot of detail, but as you've shown, they build up into a pretty good looking model with some care! Nice work on this rod. I like the color, and the flame decals look just right for a period hot rod! Very cool! Sam
  8. Nice, clean build! Good color, too! Sam
  9. Good save! It looks a lot better with your touches! Nice work! Sam
  10. Very cool model! I remember seeing some Gremlins in that color. Yours looks good! Nice diorama, too! Sam
  11. Very nice Jeep, Art! It's nice to see one in a different color than olive drab. Good work! Sam
  12. Hey, all. Here's my last one for 2016, a Monogram metal-body 1/24 scale Jaguar XK120. OOB build with plug wires added. Nice kit - went together well. My only complaint is the huge mold line that went full length of each side of the body. It took my orbital sander and some 80 grit paper to clean it up! The hood is not a great fit either, but it will do. Paint is Rustoleum hunter green, with Tamiya acrylic tan brushed on the top and interior. Pretty simple build, and I've always loved the looks of the XK's! Comments welcome! Sam
  13. That's a beauty! Great color, and the wood looks real. I like the skirts, too! Great build! Sam

  21. Tulio, here's the link to my post back in 2009. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/22227-56-ford-crown-vic-in-pink-white/ Floyd, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. Sorry. Sam
  22. Me either. And I like it a lot! Nice work! Sam
  23. I used some of them in this 56 in 2009.
  24. Pretty cool custom! I like the skirts, whitewalls, and connie kit - very late 50's period stuff. The chain steering wheel is a cool touch! I think I would black wash the grille a bit if it was mine. Nice work! Sam
  25. Very nice build! Great color and finish! Love the old Mopars! Sam
