  1. Two former co-workers passed away in the last two days. One guy and I go way back as we were in the Corps together. The other guy was a lifelong motor cop, friend and mentor. Danggit. G
  2. Exceptional! Good call on polishing the body. Perfect. G
  3. Yes to all the above. G
  4. With the wind blowing like it is, it'll be there soon. G
  5. I saw a cloud yesterday. G
  6. That's one of my all time favorite cars and you did it right. Good job sir. G
  7. SWEET! G
  8. Clean build there. Good to see ya Felix. G
  9. Tremendous work! Can I have it? G
  10. Many moons ago I took the then wife on a fairly lengthy motorcycle trip. At the end of day one she remarked that from her perch on back she saw other drivers performing countless tasks while at speed. I informed her that was the norm and the reason why i issued so many tickets while riding a bike in the Traffic Safety Division. Scary, it really is. This morning on the way in some brain dead, late for work, me first azz howl committed at least four violations in the span of twelve seconds. Yes I timed him, force of habit you know. Neat thing was he did all that in front of a NHP officer. I'm sure the cop wrote 'til he ran out of ink. I would. G
  11. Bill were you married to my last ex perchance? G
  12. Until 1986 or so Troopers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wore their sidearm on the right and shot right handed regardless. The quest for "uniformity" knew no limits. All were required to wear long sleeve shirts and neckties year round. This also included the cross strap of the standard Sam Browne gunbelt. I attended several classes at the HP academy in the early 80s as a motorcycle jock. Those guys scared me. Rumor was that while in their academy troopers had their sweatglands and sense of humor surgically removed. I have never doubted that. G PS I hate self checkouts, I always wind up mofoing the voice prompt.
  13. That is flippin' cool. When you opened that box last Saturday and we took a look, well I was sold. G
  14. Now THAT is superb. G
  15. Most likely it is, but I don't remember that one. The exhibit has been closed to the public due to all the recent rennovation there. I'll get inside eventually, I do after all have to inspect the premises. G
  16. I used it with a dually Chevrolet 2500, dropped right on. It should fit the Meng kit from what I saw in the box . G
  17. Maybe so Austin, but every employee should know where the left handed hammers are located. G
  18. What's a white sox? That anything like a "Cub"? I don't recognize those terms, I am a Cardinals fan................................
  19. Danno, you need that. Badly.................. G
  20. Snuck in on me there. No sir the figures are a set from Master Box based on a real photo of Rommell and his staff sitting atop a tank. I researched Herr Feldmarschall's uniform tunics and painted him accordingly. G
  21. A few more. The map held by Herr Feldmarschall is a photo reduction of Libya in the area of Mersa Matruh, ca 1941. It fits the time frame of the build. G
  22. This was my third completion in the GB. I created a conversion from Panzer III F to Panzerbefehlswagen III E. I scratchbuilt the frame antenna, machine gun mount and moved the turret 1 scale foot forward. Here are some pre paint mockup shots. And the finished product. G
  23. C'mon Jason get at it my friend! Joe those rudder pedals are the schnizzle, or should I say schnitzel? Guys we post here with impunity when on other forums you are required to give credit to the origin of the pic. That's why I stated what I said about that diagram. I simply don't know who to give credit to so it is there "for discussion only". Moving on, she's finished! I'm planning on small desert bases for this and the Pz III L. I'll incorporate them into clear display cases. Next up I believe will be a USMC Sherman flame tank from the Iwo Jima campaign. G
  24. Traffic here on the 15 is a nightmare during my commute. I go out of my way and take the 95 south toward the dam, then cut over. I gave up the stick just before moving here and am glad I did. G
