  1. Cheers Chris.
  2. Thanks Gentlemen.
  3. Old amt kit, factory stock. The small chrome parts were more like chrome blobs, I couldn't do anything with them so it's missing the door handles and the little hubcaps. Still nice for such an old kit. Ford rattle can black, not polished out.
  4. Oops, glitch on my side, can't get pics up, sorry.
  5. .
  6. I'm sure someone here could make you up some decals. "Brown's Butchers" or something! LOL
  7. My God., Geoff's modifying something! LOL All you need now is a V8 and slicks Seriously though, that's more interesting, any plans for sign writing Geoff?
  8. Lumpy paint can still look shiny. That's a hell of a lot better JC, factory road Mk2s weren't as good! LOL You won't need much polishing on that.
  9. The Jordan 191 is the best looking of the modern F1 cars, not that I'm biased of course
  10. Here's a red one.
  11. They're all raced with the hardtop on over here these days. Google the Goodwood Revival. I'll look for a link later on.
  12. That's very nice Tomo, great masking. I used to go to the Armagh office of a company I worked for every so often, haven't been up there for ages.
  13. We really are separated by a common language. I find it very funny to be honest. We all know the familiar hood/bonnet and trunk/boot stuff and generally ignore it, but when it comes to paint it can get confusing.
  14. Keep it simple and use Halfords acrylic rattle cans,(or Holts if you find it cheaper at the local motor factors), we get the same stuff here as the UK. Solid colours can be polished out, metallics generally dry flat, so need a clearcoat, and then polishing. Clearing over decals is a topic I won't get into, but it does seal them if that's what you want to do, always do a test as above, but I've never had a problem with the halfords stuff.
  15. Fantastic, really gorgeous.
  16. Or a Jo-han, you can't cut them up, they're like hen's teeth over here. The green Trabant is looking good Geoff.
  17. Hi Mark, if you need any help or info on where to get stuff here let me know. Just remember it's only plastic
  18. Nice work Tomo.
  19. Dreadful paint as usual Geoff Sterling is expensive at the moment though, buy while it's strong.
  20. Ireland's not in the UK Geoff. As you well know. (he's just trying to wind me up here! LOL) There's no harm in e-mailing id models on the off-chance Monty, although if the UK won't post them, we probably can't either.
  21. http://idmodels.ie/tools-paint.html. Doesn't seem to be any problem posting paint to the US. Scoot around, you'll find the Revell enamels and shipping rates. Good guys with a good service, even if they're on the other side of the Atlantic! LOL
  22. Just checked my one, no cracks either.
  23. There's no comparison between front engined dinosaurs that mostly just turn left and Formula 1.
  24. I suspect that started out as an AC Cobra from amt or Minicraft JC? It looks like an original AC Ace with the big wire wheels, very nice.
