Bienvenue Constantin. I spent 3 months in Paris when I was in College many years ago. The Eiffel tower was 100 years old, and Bastille day anniversary was 200 years old back in 1989. Paris really rocked that summer.

Thanks Eric. Brakes just slow you down Del

My friend came in for a beer and put a smallblock in it when I wasn't looking. I didn't notice it until the next morning.

Yes it is, and it means the RS 1600 should be just as good.

What are you using for a polishing compound JC? -
What did you see on the road today?

Good day over here today, I saw an original Escort XR3 in white, a mk3 Capri with X pack wide arches, it was perfect. I spoke to the Capri guy and asked him if he saw the red Integrale I saw the previous day,( must be one of a tiny number in Ireland) and it's his!, he has it in a heated garage. -
RIP Carlsson på taket!

Yes that was him. Very sad news. He was married to Stirling Moss's sister Pat who passed away a few years ago. -
How NOT to tow vehicles... EVER!

In my days in college I tied a rope around the front valance of my friend's Ford Cortina. The tow car moved off, along with the front valance from the Cortina, while we remained motionless. God it was funny. He didn't speak to me for a week. LOL -

It was sold as LHD too for our friends in continental Europe, ie outside Britain and Ireland and the few other RHD countries such as Australia and New Zealand for example. -

That looks stunning JC. Wheelbrace on the co-driver's floor, too many things to mention without making a list. Fabulous. Now take the brave pill and paint it! -
I pretty much went through it sanding on one side before I realised Peter, they're both there just about! I'm no expert on Fords this old. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks Carl. I have the interior and hood/uptop sprayed light tan to give it a bit of a lift, pics to follow when I build up the windscreen.

Thanks guys. It's just straight out of a rattle can, not polished or cleared, sometimes I get very lucky. There is a lot of light coats on it though, I nearly used a whole 300ml Halfords can, which would be like Duplicolour in the US I think.

Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette

Very nice, I remember seeing lots of them back in the day when we went to France on Holidays when I was a kid. Loads of DS's still on the road then too. The Renault 4 van was very popular here back then, the Post Office used to have lots of them painted green. LOL -
I'm sure wholesale suspension revisions would be needed too, the current "high profile" tyres are providing some compliance, where these won't. The idea was mooted years ago, but the then sole provider to F1 said they could do it, but there was no prior experience/information to base calculations on, so development costs would rocket. What was the result from the Lotus test do you know JC?

Just asking, the TS-15 I used on the Tyrrell was dreadful, very lumpy straight from the can, do a spoon test first. I normally use auto acrylic rattlecans and it seems much better than Tamiya, but I guess that's what I'm used to.
