  1. Those are just gorgeous cars and builds...I need to find me one for my family owned vehicle replica collection. I bought my 1 to 1 car at 16 years old for 400.oo needed nothing and very good condition from the original owners at 80,000 miles...it never asked for anything ran and rode great. I loved their classy looks and performance.
  2. Congrats to you both Carl....working on our 23rd here....hope you both have many more to come and a great day...
  3. That is AWESOME...! My first real car was a 72 Toronado....been looking for a affordable kit or promo for some time now. Mine was dark green with a cream colored top and interior...great car.
  4. Welcome Clark...
  5. Xs 3.....I have to try to build one...
  6. Clayton....Nice looking truck.
  7. No problem Shane....were all here for the same reason...we love what we do...always glad to be of help.
  8. That looks very nice...
  9. Ed...I wish I could afford one because Id buy it. Our old truck needs about another 75 horsepower. Years ago I had one I found on a old junkyard Ford Galaxie but no longer have it...bummer I got it for 100.oo back then and it worked.
  10. Awesome build..! Id love to have a 1 to 1 supercharger like that one for our truck.
  11. Steve.... I have a promo of this one...if it were not for the horribly warped body it would be mint...shame.
  12. VERY NICE...! Love the color too. I use to own a 1 to 1 75 TA....miss it badly.
  13. Brad.... Nice trailers..! I hope our hobby lobby get those in.
  14. Looks nice to me Gord....much better than my first one.
  15. Welcome Shane...from IL. Building is a great way to pass time...best advise anyone ever gave me is to treat every parts as if it were a model itself and building is no race take your own time and enjoy the build.
  16. On my budget I never use funds for the household needs they always come first they have to. Then if anything is left its put up which is never much and if we do not need it for anything after time goes by and its grown any I might get to buy myself something to tinker with. In my house I always put my own wants last our budget requires it 90% of the time and I am ok with that...one has to do what they have to. Far as having too many kits or rebuilders or projects....one can never have enough if they use them to relax or pass the time with...there are much worse hobbies.
  17. Nope we had no insurance. We have a dog now. That is one of the reasons my parts needed list is so huge for what is still here of my dads collection....just a few remain of mine from my childhood days. Been searching for the parts but not much of any luck yet for them and cant afford resins at this point in time so Ill have to find someone with the parts there not in need of using....I have to restore what is left somehow. I just hope none of you ever have to go through this.
  18. Id place an order if I could afford to...a big one...need a lot of stuff.
  19. Looks pretty cool Ken...
  20. Very Very cool...I had one once...wish they could re-issue a kit with one again.
  21. WOW...! Now that is a oversized load.
  22. Miles....you must have been watching(Mad Max Fury Road)...nice...sometimes different is cool.
  23. Dan... As you know I have a good reason the hate thieves but others may not....a few years ago just before Christmas our house got broken into and they caused a lot of damage...plus they stole what they could and found my model room and collection of my dads and my childhood ones. Most of a 40+ year collection gone or badly damaged...around 100 old promos,100+ old kits, etc. just gone...I was devastated...now trying to repair and replace some memories.
  24. Awesome....very nice....
  25. Dave...Many years ago MPC made a 66 Bonneville kit and Hawsagawa made a curbside kit of it too and might be much easier to find...they both look great in my opinion...wish I had them too. I am still hoping someone got the 63 Tempest kit for the chassis and interior and engine...I need parts for a factory stock restoration.
