67 Buick GS 400
disabled modeler replied to yellowsportwagon's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Our 73 GS had a all Kenny Bell parts engine....was a real beast...factory 4 speed too supposed to have been a rare option for the 73s. I have the old AMT 66 GS model build up and the craftsman but both were damaged in the 2011 tornado we had here a long with the rest of them from my dads old collection sadly....both need parts I ether cant find or afford. -

Tom... I liked seeing the old box arts..always loved them and collected them. I wish I could find what the ones I have need and others I would need to make the replicas from...just cant get them out of my head till I do. Mine..any 76 or prior body styles should work for the projects/restorations...I had a trade deal agreed to on a unbuilt 75 but at the last minute he sold it to someone...just my luck. I too would like to attempt the long Maxi-van body one as well. We had several 71 to 76 vans in the family once...one was a Maxi-van.

Another great thing to have is the drive belts from old junk computer printers....they make great looking blower drive belts. Small capacitors make nice looking scale oil filters as well.
