'65 Fury. Back on the Bench.
disabled modeler replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Steve...Your killing me with the photo showing the kits there...LOL.. I have the 65 HT missing glass and bumpers....a 66 HT promo needing glass, bumpers, taillights, front roof posts, one wheel and tire and torsion bar suspension on the pass side. These are some of the classiest looking cars Plymouth made to me. -

1969 Chrysler 300 4 dr. ht. Air Trax resin built up
disabled modeler replied to Paul Hettick's topic in Model Cars
Beautiful build or a beautiful classic car...! I think many 4 doors and wagons are underrated as kits they bring a very realistic touch to ones collection...not every vehicle on any given street is a top of the line muscle car...even though many real 4 doors and wagons could have been with what they were equipped with. -

1/25 MPC '78 Dodge D-100 Pickup
disabled modeler replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
exactly brother. I had some early Dodge 2wd and 4x4 long bed pickup kits and build ups before the storm...all pre 77 year ones. I really love them and the older Dodge van kits MPC made like to find some like i had before the storm I built as a kid and with my dad think it would be good for me and the memories. Build them as real ones the family had owned once. If I can find a few of the pre 77 grilles and get some of the new kits I could make some of them. -
1/25 MPC '78 Dodge D-100 Pickup
disabled modeler replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Carl.... The old MPC kits of these did have 2wd or 4x4 building options back in the day....they also had great extras. -
Very nice..! I have to get me a couple of those carts...have no use for the pickup though.
-
I have the same issue...many kits that got reissued as a convertible I would love to have as a HT like the MPC 70 Bonneville for one...I have the original HT but the body and glass are toast sadly. Others that are convertibles Id like to have realistic looking up tops for them since I cant have the HT ones Id rather have...I think the realistic looking up tops make them look much more classy looking on most of them.
-
LOL...Nice..!!! I have been planing on making one from brass rod for some time. It also would help me make trim around the windows on my station wagon conversions...not to mention trim that is too light or missing on kits.
