  1. Beautiful work! I'd love to find one of these kits - but alas, they're always $$$
  2. Awesome! Thank you all! More questions - what would be a good source for the larger (aftermarket?) mirrors that were common then? Western mirrors, perhaps?
  3. Along these lines, is a 1974 Ford pickup available? Or could one easily get to the '74 using one of the existing Moebius kits?
  4. Does anyone know of parts to convert the 1972 (I guess this would be closest) Moebius Ford pickup to a 1974 model? The best I can tell, the grill would be different. Actually, maybe the side trim is significantly different, too? I ask because my Dad had a '74 Ford Pickup ("The best running Ford I ever owned" -this from a GM Man). I'd like try to replicate it - although I don't know of any pictures of the actual truck. I'd be going off memory... thanks!
  5. Nice C4! Really like the flamed hood.
  6. Nice work so far! We need to see a picture of the car it's modeled after, too
  7. Very cool! I personally think this should be reissued. When I was a kid in Lafayette Scale Modelers in NC, we had a common kit theme once - this was the kit. I love seeing these built up - I guess partly because of that.
  8. This is the coolest thing I've seen lately! Excellent and creative! Nice work.
  9. Oh, yeah! I'll be watching - I picked up two of these and am looking forward to seeing what you do.
  10. Very nice!
  11. So to chime in - I purchased two of these kits. One from eBay and there were no issues. I ordered a second one through my local hobby shop, and that kit, too, has no apparent issues. The cab is intact with both. So, maybe you guys got kits from a bad run? Of course, I don't know what a "run" actually entails. Anywho, it looks like a fun, and somewhat whimsical, little kit. Any recommendations for a non-V8 engine?
  12. I guess I got lucky - the kit arrived today and the parts look fine. Of course, I've not had a chance to start any building; but at least the cab does appear to be in one piece (albeit a little warped)
  13. Yep - I noticed that on the last couple of kits I picked up. I rolled the dice on the LUV - hopefully mine arrives intact
  14. Wonder what ever happened to that Academy kit that was supposed to be available years ago ? ?
  15. Beautiful! As a RX-7 owner, I'd say it needs to be dirtier on the underside
  16. Hot Dog! This is cool! Coffee in hand ...
  17. I always look forward to seeing your work! Super creative! When you say "gundam parts" ... are there particular ones you like to raid for parts? Seems to be such a variety. Maybe that's a dumb question - Anyway, really enjoy seeing these
  18. I know this is an ancient thread, but I was looking at the Roth decals from the Revell kit and the actual 1990's issue AMT kit ... has anyone built the AMT kit and used the Revell decals with success?
  19. Incredible! Really enjoying this - the creativity and execution is stellar!
  20. Now THAT is a kit I'd like to see reissued! Actually, any of the Volvo kits....
