Kenny Schrader's 1985 Rookie Ride, built (a term I'd use lightly in this case) from the Monogram Rookie of the Year Combo kit. I think most stance and finish errors were of my own creation. But, it's done. Lessons learned to be applied to the next build ...
Possibly this belongs under another part of the forum but:
1) Does anyone have a review of the MPC 1978 Dodge Dart, kit 7826; especially the funky custom bits.
2) What are the odds this kit might be reissued?

I think I'd try to find a way to make a copy of the windshield from thinner plastic - perhaps using the original as a mold (with clay or something to back it to prevent cracking) and trying to make a thermoformed copy (vacuum-formed). Your build looks great so far!
The Woody Woodpecker car, too. Not quite Cartoon Network, but ...
Wait - I see you have that in your list. (sheepish grin)
I need to finish this guy sometime
This is the 1989 edition of the Oldsmobile Aerotech, by Monogram. Part of the "High Performance Series". I completed this in 2013 or 2014, I think. Dug it out recently and thought I'd share.
Yeah, I blame a fair bit of my horde on Tim's reviews and hpiguy's videos. I'm all "Nah, I don't need that..." Then, I read a review of Tim's or watch a build of hpiguy .... and I go buy the kit.
Gotcha. Did you use the kit decal for the strip and cowl area, or just paint the whole bit? That little pin stripe around the perimeter of the blacked area seems like a real challenge.
Still looks great!
