  1. Very cool Randy! Now it's time to modify a few of these!
  2. Looks nice Jeremiah! Have you sized this up beside the AMT '78 Ford pickup out now? Was wondering if this proper 8' bed could be used on the styrene kit...
  3. Alan's a great guy, he's just got too much on his plate. You'll get your goods, it'll take some time. Well worth the wait though!
  4. I talked to Billy today, I'm sending him the hood and mirrors for paint. Since he did a GREAT job on everything so far, I don't want to take the chance with a non-match color-wise... Ron, can I send everything else to you now? As far as the finished model, we could auction it for a charity, or donate to the Model Car museum, or to Casey...
  5. GREAT work going on here!
  6. I'm making the trip! Loooking forward to meeting some of the 'west' guys
  7. LOVE IT!!! VERY creative!
  8. Looks NICE and realistically weathered Kenneth! Can you still get to the front fender to remove it? It's on backwards
  9. Michel, there are two different platers that do resin parts: http://www.chrometechusa.com/model-cars-and-collectibles.html And Dale at LMK (no website): The Little Motor Kar Co. 203 Linda Lane Reading PA 19606 610-779-1462 littlemotorkarco@talon.com

  11. Thanks for the nice comments guys! I'm happy with the interior, I think it'll look nice with the bright blue exterior Billy is going to send me some paint, so I'll fix the hood and paint the mirrors. Thanks Billy I'll get with Ron and go ahead and send everything but the hood and mirrors to him. The mirrors would be in the way of foiling the side window frames anyway... Sorry this has taken so long on my part, 'life' has been getting in the way lately...
  12. Nice review and build-up of the kit in issue 187:
  13. DONE!!! Couldn't get great pics, but... Did we ever talk about what color the exterior mirrors would be? I found them in a baggie in the box, unpainted. Every reference pic I looked at shows them being body color. Also the hood had a little chunk missing from the leading edge, it WAS in the box. I glued it back in place, but you can see the crack in the paint. Billy, do you have any blue paint left from this? I could probably custom mix and get close, but the actual paint would be MUCH easier...
  14. AWESOME Dale! Removing the side body moldings REALLY did a lot for this. The body looks like it's accurately shaped now!
  15. It's tomorrow, can't wait!
  16. NICELY built!
  17. Make a convertible out of it Joe! The body on the snapper is more accurate than the glue 'vert anyway...
  18. Don't think so Jon See here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65439&hl=%2Brequest+%2Baftermarket
  19. Very nice Tony!
  20. Don't know of any in resin, but I THINK the new reissue of the 71-72 Blazer has separate front locking hubs? Maybe someone that's bought it can confirm? Easy enough to scratch build though, pics from my dear departed friend Larry : http://s46.photobucket.com/user/BigEd0601/library/Scout%20Trail%20Rig?sort=3&page=1
  21. I've got it Ron, and the interior is 97% done... PM me your mailing addy and I'll get it shipped out soon.
