  1. See if this helps John: http://grantorinosport.org/70torino05.htm
  2. I'll be there!
  3. Great work Bob! Looks awesome!
  4. Thanks for the photo review Tim! I'll be picking one up for TWO reasons...1) to rob the corrected bucket seats for our community Torino build, and 2) build the rest of the kit for me (Pro-touring, aftermarket seats)
  5. Very cool! And signed by Tom Daniel himself, COOLER!
  6. Nice builds!
  7. TASTY!!!
  8. X2! Always liked Jay when Dennis Gage had him on 'My Classic Car'...
  9. The problem is, factory high-back buckets HAD NO separate headrests! The mustang buckets are correct in shape/size, but have the larger pleats. I could possibly make the kit supplied 'buckets' into a proper bench seat, since they already have the headrests and almost look like a bench seat cut in half!?!? Been working on the dash and embossing powder for the floor pan while thinking about this...
  10. Has anyone bought one & measured to check the true scale? These diecasts aren't always sized as advertised...look pretty good in the pics
  11. The accurately shaped body already exists with Revell's snap hardtop, just cut off the roof!
  12. Good stuff going on here Mike! Post it up on ORM if you get a chance...
  13. OK fellas, opinions please! Been trying to decide whether or not to use the kit front seats (inaccurate shape, and no separate headrests on factory buckets) or '69 Mustang seats (like mocked up on the passenger side)??? The problem with using the Mustang buckets is that the upholstery 'pleats' are larger and don't match the kit back seat...don't want to get into a bunch of scratch-building, etc. This is supposed to be fun!
  14. Very nice! I'd like to own one like that in 1:1
  15. Matt, you can build MOST of these, some easier than others: 1933 Cadillac Fleetwood Aerodynamic Coupe---NOPE 1955 de Soto Flightsweep----NOT that I can find? 1956 Continental MkII Coupe---there was a plastic toy, not very accurate. There is a 1/24 diecast I think? 1959 Buick Invicta Coupe---AMT annual 1963 Corvette (Corvair? The caption is a bit unclear) Fastback Coupe---YES, CORVETTE...just reissued AMT, or nicer bodied Revell snap kit 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado---Johan 1970 Dodge Challenger---AMT 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1---AMT, MPC
  16. You are very welcome my friend! Looking forward to visiting with you there as well
