  1. It looks very good so far, interesting to see how it comes together, since your builds are always spectacular. Where are those front wheels from? I've seen some FC wheels like that on ModelExpress, but I'm not sure about their scale or how big they really are.
  2. This is going to be interesting build. Your other builds have been really amazing, and I'm very interested about seeing how this comes together. Pro Mods are great, and it's nice to see more of these Full Detailed ProMods being built.
  3. Huh, that looks amazing. Paintjob is better before polishing, than my paintjob after polishing. I really like this build, I keep watching for more to come.
  4. Wow, Luckily I opened this Trucks section today, it looks VERY good! WIP was great to follow, and finished product is worth it. Weathering is perfect, and I like the detail. Thanks for sharing this beautiful build.
  5. This Truck is pretty ugly in 1:1 world, but it would be great to have in this smaller scale. Well maybe I must buy that LoneStar first...
  6. I've bought two kits from ModelExpress, and everything worked alright. The prices are good, and shipping was pretty fast, even if I'm here in Europe. Sometimes They have some older stuff as well.

Thanks Jason and Bruce! The decklid latch seems to be upside down. Äh, well I guess I have to let it be, since I don't have this build anymore. And yes, these are very rare nowadays, but they were really popular (and cheap!) on the 60's. It's a shame, VW Beetle is really nice looking little car.
  8. New frame crossmember for the C/Street Mustang is from X-Frame Chevrolet's frame, which was in very bad condition. I had to narrow it a bit and also I made it bit lower, and with some styrene I managed to glue it on. Some putty for finishing, and it's pretty good now. Engine fits nicely on its place now, but it will be bit higher from the front when I make new engine brackets.
  9. It looks very good so far, and I'll be watching this build since I'm fan of Chevrolets and AWB cars. Engine looks very nice and I like the stance. I've built this kit too, but it was worse than I hoped.
  10. GREAT job with the Camaro so far, I like the look of Narrow Body Camaro PM. Paintjob is killer, and that engine detail is incredible. I enjoy watching this one, keep it going. What happened with the scoop?
  11. Beautiful build of Beautiful car. Paint job is perfect, very smooth and shiny and I like the overall look, it's very clean and realistic looking build. I like the wheels also. Thanks for sharing the WIP topic, I really enjoyed watching it.

Wow, thanks everyone ! I really appreciate the comments. Graig: Body is spraypainted, but everything else is painted by paintbrush. That's the normal way, well sometimes I paint chassis with spray too, but sometimes I use paint brush (as I did with this) Geoff: I've got lots of inspiration from your European car builds, and that's one more reason why I built this one. Peter: Yeah, this is also built to my grandfather, who had 1:1 with those ZJE-4 register plates. That was on 70's. Ron: It's 1/24 scale. And yes, thanks again everyone, comments are very great to hear, and they're appreciated.
  13. I have to agree with Rob and Dirk. You're doing great job, but those ignition wires are bit too thick. Maybe smaller diameter wire would look better. I've bought mine from Scale Dreams, but cauge wrapping wire works too. Nice job with the body painting, I'm very interested about seeing more-you're doing amazing job on your second build.

My first build in 2012. Built as a birthday present to match beformer 1:1 car. Basis for the build was Hasegawa Beetle, and it was quite simple kit- no engine and simple chassis. Interior and body were good, though. There were some mold lines anyway and I had to remove them before painting. Color is Maston white, and clear is Maston's also. I waxed it, but no polishing this time. Chassis is mainly black, and everything is painted by brush. Shocks are red, and there are some silver details, but otherwise it's gloss, semi gloss or matt black. Red & Black interior is painted by brush too, and I used finally masking tape when painting those seats. It was worth it, and I guess I must start using masking tape often. Nothing special in final assembly, Finnish register plates are home made, but their shape isn't perfect. Overall I'm pretty happy about it. Let Me Know, What Do You Guys Think.
  15. This is truly amazing scratchbuilding. That Pedal came out great, and this build really gives alot of inspiration. I'm very interested about what's coming next.
  16. Only thing I can say right now is paintjob looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! That design is just perfect and you managed to paint it without removing the paint. That would be inpossible for me when trying to paint that kind of paintjob.
  17. This turned out great, you managed to get very realistic look to that body. Engine looks great too, details are great. I like it very much, can't wait to see it in person. Yes that's the way, of course.
  18. Well Now the paintjob turned out better, great job with it. Those pinstripes look amazing too. Can't wait to see more, this is incredible build.
  19. Who makes that Ford Bronco Resin kit? It would be GREAT to have one... Very nice builds, all of them, but I especially like that Dodge Super Bee. And welcome to the forum.
  20. You just keep building these Lowriders and that's great! Impala is going to be killer build also when finished. You have inspired me-it's time to start looking for a basis for Lowrider build.
  21. Amazing build, I can see that we have one very talented builder here building this Duster. Frame looks very good too, but especially I like that engine. It looks Super Nice to me. I'll be watching this one very closely.
  22. I was looking this yesterday on ModelExpress, and it looked like VERY interesting. Maybe I should pick one up... That's cool combination of ShowRod and DragCar, so it's interesting because of that also.
  23. Sorry about your loss, it always hurts so much. But Luckily Dart looks very good so far, detailing has been awesome and paintjob is near perfection. I hope you are able to work with this one very soon.
  24. Very cool Lowrider, as Usual. I really dig your style of builds, Clean, and smooth and especially super shiny! That BelAir looks very good to me, engine details are also fantastic.
  25. Very Nice looking Paintjob, even if it's still under construction. I'm really enjoying the build, this is spectacular. Going to be real Masterpiece when Finished!
