As odd as it sounds the interior is brush painted with matte craft paint and a coat of matte clear sprayed over it. The intake is something I came up with, I wanted to use the injection setup that came in the kit but I wanted it to fit under the stock hood so I raided my parts box and came up with that.

My wife got me this one for my birthday last month and I love it! I put all others on hold to finish this one up since it has a special meaning to me.

Good thing is being curbside I left myself wide open to adding an engine later when I decide what it should be.

I bought several at Ollie’s when I found them originally. I’ll still pick one or two up on occasion if I run across them.

Gonna be working there for 2-3 days this coming week and thought I’d give it a look around and maybe find some deals.

That ram air hood makes that car! Great color choice and wheel choice too! Love it!

Another long term project finally finished. Paint is Duplicolor GM Autumn Maple with 1K clear. Wheels/tires are Pegasus 19/21 Centerlines.

I started this build as a curbside build because I couldn’t decide which engine I wanted to use in it. Then I got slightly unmotivated to build anything. After pushing through and getting a couple of other long stalled projects finished, I threw some paint on this one and it sat again. Started a couple more semi-long term projects and then when I got to a stalled stage I just sat here at my bench trying to decide “Who’s next”. So here it is in its finished state. Wheels and tires are from @Texas_3D_Customs and the paint is a combination of Krylon satin Catalina Mist and IH White from a local Tractor Supply store.

It’s factory Jeep Rescue Green for 07-12 Wranglers over black primer. Had it mixed in a spray can at my local autobody supply house. Cleared with 1K clear.

Great work so far!! I’m liking this a LOT! Are you going to make the chrome strip/divider for the side windows? -
That looks awesome! I normally don’t like green but that shade really POPS!!

That color looks awesome!!!

Another source for screen material for your hood is a local vape shop. They have stainless mesh screens used by people who build their own coils and it’s only like $3-$5 for 5 pieces.

It’s absolutely gorgeous!!!
