Amazing article on a greatly overlooked topic in this hobby!!

Black wire is used for plug boots on distributor and plug

I used the Revell 68 GT 2n1 kit for the chassis, underhood, and interior for mine. While not typically correct, the interior has much better detail.

Definitely need 3-4 of these ?

THAT is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

Super nice! I’ve seen this kit at my local Walmart and have started to get it a couple f times.

Beautiful color, great stance! Love it!

What’s better than 1 more project? How about 2 more projects!! Started mocking this one up after I did the Silverado. Not sure what plans are yet but it’s been dropped. May go a little bit lower but not sure yet.

I’d love to see someone make sets of these in a big/little combo maybe 15x4 and 15x8 or 10 Centerline Warrior and Centerline Telstar are probably 2 of my favorite designs in wheels.

1970 Coronet RT conversion pieces
Keef replied to gtx6970's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Bought 2 70 Superbee pitchfork hood from him as well as an MPC roadrunner hood. All 3 were warped pretty bad, to the point that one of the Superbee hoods and the roadrunner hood both broke when trying to fix them. I do have his 70 coronet rt conversion set and it is definitely worth the money as well as I’m sure his other items. Maybe I just got a bad batch or something ?♂️ -
What did you see on the road today?

I drug out an opened kit of this I got in a trade many years ago to check how the conversion pieces were going to fit. Good thing I did because I found out that the hood is missing! *edit* I looked at that site. Lots of nice stuff, but $50 for a set of wheels/tires? Kinda high in my opinion.

Those look great!! I’d be interested in a couple of sets if possible.
-
Mind if I join? This is my initial mockup, subject to change as it progresses. Unsure on colors so far but possibly an 80s-90s pastel color scheme of some sort.

I’ll probably grab 2-3 of the Blazers and Shelbys and probably half dozen of the Chargers
-
Great color combo! That purple really pops!
-
Beautiful!! Where did you get the wheels from?

Love that color Carl! Looks great!!
