  1. very nice and clean Bill! I don't remember seeing another one that looked nicer in my whole life. I think the wheels really sit nicely against that paint too! What's next? How about an old school Kustom? hehe
  2. ok here is my EDIT..... have a good day!
  3. I have not used one of them Testors work sheets in so long, I should use them once in awhile. You can use that SA rag for putting your glue on so you don't ruin the Testor's covering.
  4. You know I love them both, so dang cool and I can't explain it.....but vintage builds/box "art" brought to life....just can't get enough of it! Excellent work on both, can't wait to see you do more!
  5. "One is only bound by their own convictions"
  6. You will..still waiting on the info from Bob. I will send another message and see if I can get the ball rolling. EDIT: I got word that I will not be submitting the coverage.....it's in Don and Bob's hands.
  7. Not only is that a true glue bomb, but even the parts are glued on wrong hah! I noticed the dash was upside down, maybe an Aussie conversion? hehe! front rim mounted backwards on the outside....man what a mess , but very interesting! These glue bombs are really a lot of fun to rebuild, taking something that is all murphed up and making it look good again! I look forward to seeing more Mike!
  8. no matter what the date is, build it and toss the box on your shelf.....plastic never goes to the grave unless you take it there!
  9. Don't feel bad, it was nice "in general"....at least in my opinion! You can't please everyone, everytime as I said....besides look at my signature and maybe you will understand what gets me excited.
  10. Yeah strange? I thought you would say something like "I will get mine in two weeks" hehe! It didn't stink....but there was absolutely nothing in there of interest to me other than the Coffin artwork. This issue has more of what I like, weathering, old school hot rod, spotlight of a builder, kit reviews I have not seen yet, resin casting and photography tricks! This is a great issue! Can't please everyone, with every issue! Keep up the great work guys!
  11. Just wanted to start another frenzy! I got mine, you get yours? THIS IS MUCCCHHHH BETTER THAN THE LAST ISSUE! NICE LAYOUTS AND STUFF!

  13. and if you go to the location on 84th street in Omaha.....I put some on clearance today.
  14. It's really cool you guys are supporting your local shops! Now if you only realized that there are others on here that might benefit to know the names of the shops and where they are.....which only promotes the health of your LHS by a smidge....but it does help! Give them a shout out! My local's are Star Models (online or in person sales) 3 Hobby Lobby (not mom and pop of course) I work for one of them Michael's (not mom and pop) Mangelson's (not mom and pop, but I think it is family owned) 2 Hobby Town USA (not mom and pop, but gotta support em'!) Tony's Toys and Collectibles (sole owner, kinda mom and pop but is located in a shopping mall and I think there is another one in Council Bluffs in another mall but never been to it) Another friend will be opening an online shop....but won't say who or what yet. I live in Omaha, Nebraska....if these shops are of interest just email me for locations and stuff.... trakburner@yahoo.com I travel a few times a year, it might benefit your LHS if I knew about them!
  15. you are lucky indeed. why not post the names of those shops so others can find them?
  16. that's one nice Vic! Pink suits it just fine, nice work!
  17. I dunno...something funny about having your name signed across my body. I guess it's ok though. Have I seen the new shirts? Is this the one you had at Toledo last year?
  18. so...did anyone go? pics ?
  19. both Fotki and Photobucket have free/pay options. I personally don't like the way photobucket is set up and I have an account on there I never use. I have been on fotki for almost 5 years. by the way...FREE Fotki accounts, you can request extra space each month...reminds me I need to go do that for my other two accounts.
  20. it's always fun to punch something that can't fight back.
  21. If it happens, let me know. I asked months ago to change mine because awbcrazy is no longer used.
  22. Not sure if I pointed it out before, but sometimes the Pigma pen will act like it's not writing. You have to twist as you draw and go at different angles sometimes. It's not because of the pen, but it's because of the "film" on the chrome..something on the chrome makes it hard to apply at times...so what I do is wash the chrome in warm soapy water like in Dawn dish soap to remove any film, oils from skin etc.. OH.....and they come in other colors too! Imagine some of the smallest details you could add with them!
  23. The light was just an old desk lamp with a couple flourescent bulbs in it. I used the flash on top of the lamp and the other lights in the room also. I really haven't used it in a couple months or so. All I can say is it was cheap and have been using it for over two years, maybe three? I don't want to stray from this topic, but given a little time I could show you what I use now and it's even cheaper!
  24. I didn't know SMBC did one, I got one from Drag City Casting though and it's NICE! It's a '33 though, I will check Chris' out and see what year his is.
  25. thanks! I have taken pics of most of my models in it, but I have recently started using a different back drop.
