My father suffered from this and it's painful to watch an able body unable to perform the simplest of tasks as the brain deteriorates. It started with taking away his car keys (before he ran into someone or I get a 3a call he had driven hundred of miles away)....then I rehomed his dog as he was no longer able to care for the ten pound furball......eventually it was an assisted care nursing home. Glenn Campbell's song "I'm not going to miss you" really gives an inside look to someone on the outside from the person that has it.

I would suspect is was more of a CYA investigation on Hyundai's part for their first effort on a higher end SUV

Went to a local toy show. It's really a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH shoot as to what you find here but it virtually doubled from the fall show (in terms of square footage).....sometimes there's great stuff and other times, meh. I know most of the modeler groups went to the Ft Wayne show today. This was my only model find......Sealed inside/complete. I figured with Tom Daniel going over to Atlantis and VW with their license fees, this one wasn't coming back anytime soon!

Yep.....Only 100K on it. Fully optioned base model, including the sunroof and the 11 speaker stereo.....black on black. The wife couldn't believe I made a 200 mile plus round trip when I got it (it had the leather seats with the bun warmers) until she drove it. This was only about 15mph impact but it outweighed the Mazda 3 so much, it spun the other car that the cops had to ask what happened as both cars were facing the same direction.

Until last April when a distracted driver (per his citation) failed to yield when the light turned and he turned left...presumably to get to Subway. Took me two years to find a G8 that wasn't beat.

I guess their new pricing structure is raise prices ten percent and put the kits on sale for 40% off. At least pull off the old price sticker or improve your aim when putting the new higher price on. AMT stuff was now $32.99.

Got signed up for the Covid shot. No luck locally so went one county away and two days out at Walgreen's. I kept checking CVS, Rite-Aid and Krogers (their site is a major PITA) to no avail. Already have the second dose scheduled as well. This is the one time it's good to be old and fat....

No wheels in the Milk Truck kit. -
It's not just for dog logs..... My ten year old Aussie started having issues with piddling in the house. There was a simple fix of an Rx for incontinence. This was an option for her but the med worked just fine.

From Yahoo......Meghan Markle says it's 'liberating' to speak for herself' Next article states CBS paid $7M for the interview w/ her and Harry I'm far less interesting but I would sell out for far less cash.

Went downstairs Sunday morning to ankle deep water. We've had minor sewer back ups in the line but there were warning signs in the past. Nothing this time and apparently it happened before I started the dishwasher and the wife showered Sunday morning. Called the sewer district and they said they would send out paperwork and investigate but it they may not be able to do anything until later in the week. Again, I'm ankle deep in 'dirty water' (I amazed myself that I didnt use the word for what was floating in the water). I called my plumber who punched the line open. The sewer district called Sunday evening said they were on their way. I told them don't bother as I did what I had to do.

No truer words! The first dog the wife and I had was Winston (racer name Wimpy...of Popeye fame) was a greyhound. We had to put him down at only ten years old due to severe arthritis he could no longer stand. His roommate Olivia was a half scale version of what was we believe was greyhound/beagle mix (to create a faster hunting dog). Had to put her down due to pancreatitis at 16 years old. Winston has been gone 11 years and I still have the funky Koala stuffy he had.
