Wally World only had one.......(picture plagiarized from eBay)

We went Iams mini-chunks as I have an Aussie that has an allergy to a lot of the meats in dry food that she ended up getting hot spots. The mini-chunks as I also have two smaller dogs that snarf their food and it sounds like Nathan' Hot Dog eating contest. We were buying it from Sam's Club but you can get comparable prices from Chewy and not have to deal with people that ring up a cart full of stuff and then act surprised they have to PAY for it as they go searching for their debit card.

19 x 10 x 72 cabinet. The door is on the wrong side so will have to fill it and slide into place in the man cave. $11 at local auction.

the Grinch is alive and well in SW Ohio.... Clermont County. Three years ago, the county outsourced the operation of the animal shelter to an organization that made it a no-kill shelter and it became a benchmark for others to copy. The organization found out on Facebook they were getting booted as the county thinks they can do it better and cheaper. Hamilton County. Reassessed the properties and tax bills are going up on average 15%. People out of work and struggling to make ends meet so lets pile on the debt.

Where's the ball going to fall this year?
HomerS replied to Oldcarfan27's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge

On Yahoo's home page.....ESPN is expecting the Atlanta Falcons to name Marvin Lewis their next head coach!!! I'm a Buccaneers fan (back to the creamsicle jersey days.....not jumping on the TB bandwagon)....this is great news. No playoff wins in SIXTEEN seasons for the Bungals.

1966 Falcon awaiting front and back chrome. It's not the one currently on eBay but ironically missing the same pieces and same damage to the B pillar.

Nowadays, it's all about seeing how much the company can gouge the customer..... Requested a bid to frame the new deck we were building (we hadn't decided on the pattern layout for the decking itself). We got a quote for over $5k to build it out including the decking Had a switch that went bad my car that I took to a dealership to get fixed. They added a charge (I think it was $20) for shop towels that was a plug and play as well as a hazmat charge. Replaced a garage door and found one I liked but no one would install it unless they sold you one too (it was the same brand) Took quotes for new roof. Mr Roof salesman was so aggressive pushing me to sign he was one sentence away from having me call 911. A second one gave me a quote & I gave him a warning I've been in commercial real estate for over 30 years and know what this should cost....they came in over $3k over the third bid who not only got the work, I gave them recommendations that lead to two more jobs. YouTube videos are the go to as they don't teach life skills in school anymore!

I've limited my Funko purchases (due to space) but had to have John "Bluto" Blutarsky (pic plagiarized from the Internet). They need to do one of him in the Dean's office when the Delta's get their midterm grades..... Still a big fan of his work on SNL as well as movies so I will need to watch it

Yeah...caused public school lunch flashback. Food was so bad that the students organized a brown bag boycott to get the school to change. This was over 40 years ago and it took alot to get everyone to participate back then. Now kids flip out if there's not a vegan, gluten free, non GMO option.

When I bought my Genesis, I turned off all this stuff off as the horns, strobes, lights, sirens, bells, etc are annoying. I do use the backup camera as the combo of old/fat make it hard to turn around to see behind me. The wife thought I was nuts for buying the G8 out of state (it was an all day trip) for just the bun warmers......until she drove it. The Genesis has the heated steering and seats. The one that concerned the wife and I this a.m. was Petsmart delivers.....thru DoorDash. NO! I have an Aussie and she would be the one that would get tired of waiting for me to feed the foursome and somehow mess with the laptop or phone and order something.

I had to Secret Santa myself as Round 2 has reissued several versions of the AMT Ford van , but the MPC version has not come back. Years ago, my sister in law told my wife that I'm very hard to buy for as if I see something I want, I just buy it. Comes from my childhood as I used to select things from Sears catalog and Santa's accuracy was on par with Shaq from the free throw line. Fast forward to a few years ago....Sam's Club has a Maisto 1/18 Nissan GT-R I wanted. The girlfriend of my oldest son had a family pass so I asked them to get it for me. That request was redirected twice and, well, I still don't have one. A couple years later, we pulled names from a bowl for Christmas in which we all put possible items for under the tree. I am a bourbon snob and one of the things I was a small bottle of Jack. I got a bigger bottle of 'bourbon' that became a quest to figure out where it came from......finally found it at WalMart. Bourbon and WalMart should not be used in the same sentence.

Had I known that MLB rewarded even poor performance, I would have signed up for Little League a few more years...... Right-hander Anthony DeSclafani signed a $6 million, one-year contract with the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday. DeSclafani went 1-2 with a 7.22 ERA over nine games — seven starts — spanning 33 2/3 innings in 2020.

Yeah, gonna pass on that. When it grabs the bowl, fills it and puts it back down on the floor at 3a when they want a drink as I forgot to fill it before going to bed....then I'm all in!

Brian (Griffin) is not a fan of cold, let alone snow! I see the irony in it as he is part Husky, but he is usually the first of the foursome to 'recycle' and he is back at the deck door. We got a light dusting of snow a couple days ago but when i let them out this afternoon, he was rolling on the deck like a kid making snow angels!

Mom & Pop hardware stores! The wife bought a dining room cabinet from a local auction site but the hardware was missing. She called the manufacturer who sent her the wrong parts. She went to a big box hardware store who didn't carry what was needed (the screws are metric and go into a device buried in the hole to lock them in place).....and we don't need a box of hundred (need 30 of one and six of another). I took the instructions with the parts call out to that store. They said it would be a couple weeks (no problem...it's been sitting unassembled for 'a while'). They called Monday and the wife has been assembling it this weekend. Gotta stop some place and get those guys a gift card for helping end the nightmare.

These worked the best for me. One was spotted in the bathroom so I made a quick trip to Ace Hardware and got some that only opened about 45 degrees and I think the mouse just laughed at them. I got two packs of these from Lowes and Mickey & friends have crossed to the other side. My mother used to have a beauty shop and has a mouse issue so the LL used the metal traps. Sometimes they would decapitate but sometimes the mouse would walk on the trap to get the bait triggering it and it took flight.

She is four months old and wanted to play with everyone that passed. Mrs. Claus said she would be a good "Max' for the Grinch!

Did you go just for the meatloaf pan or other items as well.....cause if you only found one of the other two items, two out of three ain't bad! (wow....just showed my age on that one!)

Another victim of the pandemic is pet pics w/Santa. My teenager and I did them the last couple years for one of the local rescues (from which we have a dog) at one of the chain pet store, but they aren't doing them this year. My oldest has a four month old Golden Retriever that I was determined to find one that Santa wasn't behind the sneeze guard like the salad bar. Thank you small town America as we found one this a.m.

Ford Falcon XR8
HomerS replied to kruleworld's topic in 1:1 Reference Photos: Auto Shows, Personal vehicles (Cars and Trucks)
In Ohio, that would have been classified as a 'truck' or 'non-commercial' so the state can make the extra $15 on the license plates.....I had to pay that on my Dodge Rampage. Ironically, the 2003 5,500 pound, V8 equipped, Dodge Durango was classified as a 'wagon' and has regular car plates. -
Home made enchiladas. Several years ago, my mother got burned out on the traditional holiday meals and started doing other foods such home made lasagna. The wife and I are continuing this on with our boys. There is a local caterer that offers a great turkey dinner with all the sides, but between the wife's diet and the boys/myself picky eaters, we won't eat most of this and or we'll have left overs til spring. My brother in law used to deep fry a turkey but that has gotten expensive to do one bird once a year.
