I haven't seen my Dumas boat kit for years, but I believe that after the hull is finished, the hull is turned right side up to finish the build.

Hmmm, my Dumas instructions says to build the hull upside down and if I remember right that I've got a pretty good start on it. Guess I'll have do dig it out the next time I go into the crawl space.

Car manufactures have been "pushing" big vehicles for years, especially the pickup trucks. First it was the extended cab and 4WD, and now it is the Crew cab with more doors and a trunk without a lid. Of course it is 4WD also and has every option other than a toilet paper dispenser. The dealers aren't too happy when I walk into a showroom lookin' for a truck.

That Dumas boat is quite a project, however it will look stunning when you finish it. I had started one back in the 90's and it still lays in the crawl space under the house unfinished. I don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing it, but it sure would be nice if I did. Good luck with your build as Dumas has been making high quality model boat kits for many years.

I'm with you Dan as I have VERY little use for sports commentators and announcers as they get on a tangent of talking 'bout something irrelevant to the game I'm watching, and they want to recap the game I just spent three hours watching. sometimes I watch the game and just "mute" the sound altogether.

For colored plastic bodies I paint them with silver, then my primer, and then the color coats and clears. This seems to work just fine for me as I have done this with red and green colored plastic bodies over the past couple of years.

Hello Keagen, we have the Milwaukee NNL coming up on April 9th and it will be held in Waukesha. There is also a swap meet the following day, so make plans to attend as you won't be sorry. Bring some of your models to display also as we usually get 6, 7, 800 models on our display tables from several different states. There will some club displays, manufacture displays, a giant raffle, and some great music at this event also.

You should be able to rotate those photos so they're right side up.

If the problem lies with the postal service, why did my copies of Model Cars arrive in my mailbox damaged and not other magazines that I had received?

I finished a "stalled" build last year that I had started in the late 90's and the Dupli-Color paint that I had already painted some parts was still good and there was enough to spray the body. Of course I did try out the paint on a spare hood, only because it was so old, as I usually don't do any "spoon testing."

A bench seat can be made from two bucket seats if one really wants it. If you did put in a bench seat, then you'll have others wanting a slant six. It's a "given."
