  1. That "bowtie" came out lookin' really good Tyrone, great job on my favorite year Chevelle.
  2. If you talk to Uncle Jessie (White) and can get a set of "handicap" license plates, you'll have plenty of parking room Harry.
  3. I believe that Competition Resins has a couple of 727 tranny's in their offerings.
  4. Very nice build. There are a few builders that are exceptional that turn out really stunning models, however one should enjoy the hobby and build in their own comfort zone.
  5. There's more to life than money, so I'll check my ticket tomorrow or Monday.
  6. That Edsel ragtop is lookin' sweet Ron, really great progress and good color choice as well.
  7. I have no reason to increase the size of my un-built model/resin kit stash. Now maybe a few 1:1 cars would be in order though.
  8. I stopped at my local Verizon store to pay my latest phone bill, and I couldn't pay for it with my credit card, only ca$h. What's up with that? And yet they'll take my credit card # over the phone or in the mail. There was no other customers in the store, but they had FIVE employees standing around, and they couldn't help me. I need to take the "time machine" back to the 20th Century.
  9. If I recall, that issue of the Charger NEVER came with injectors or a clear scoop. Here's photos of the one I had built in the early 80's from the original release......................
  10. I like it, great job on that Model A.
  11. How 'bout dryer sheets, would they work, or no?
  12. Investment??? You'll be lucky if you get 75 cents on a dollar on most kits. And I do mean lucky, as I've been "thinnin' the herd" for the last two years. Sure if you have some late 50's & early 60's kits as well as JoHan kits they are a good investment, but a lot of what we buy are kits that have been issued or re-issued in the last 10 years or so, and everybody already has those.
  13. I lived in "Crook County" for 48 years and that was enough for me. I'm glad that I'm out of there.
  14. I really like that Buick ragtop.
  15. Great pic, and maybe I'll use it as a "desktop" photo for awhile. Thanks.
  16. Wow Greg, what a great project, and what an awesome job you've done so far.
  17. What do you mean by "hot rod," as according to the National Street Rod Assoc. a hot rod is a 1948 and earlier car?
  18. Nice job on restoring that "land yacht" and great color choice as well. I just love dem Mopars! I'm not a big fan of phone cameras and still rely on just a camera to take my pictures.
  19. While I do have a few resin kits, and also some resin bodies, I try to stay away from buying more. Because I just tend to stack 'em on the pile along with all the plastic unbuilt kits I have, hoping to build them someday. There are a LOT of nice resin kits out there to be had, but I do have more than enough to build already.
  20. The SMP El Camino and the JoHan Javelin kits are kits that I've had before and would like to own again. However if I do or don't get them won't change my life one bit.
  21. Not every set of parents "dump" their kids at daycare, however when the parents are divorced and both of them work the pre-school kids have to go somewhere right? And no it's not the grandparents job to watch the kids for 40 hours a week either.
  22. Didn't some of the Corvette kits come with a triangular air cleaner for their 3 carbs?
  23. I hafta agree with you there Dave, as when and if I do change something I do it very slowly and not always willingly either.
