I'm not really into Ferrari kits at all, although I do have a Modena Spider kit somewhere in my stash. And of course Santa NEVER leaves a Ferrari in my driveway on Christmas Eve either after all these years. I was kinda hoping for this one.............................
I use one of the bedrooms as a den/hobby room and it works out well for me. I try to do most of my spray painting outside, but sometimes I have to improvise and spray in the house. This setup has worked for me for over 20 years.
I agree Harry, as when I was a kid in the 50's & 60's we had a LOT of hobby shops or other stores w/hobby departments. Over the years I've seen many hobby shops go by the wayside, but I realize that it's something that I can't change.
I remember that snowfall well Harry, very well. Lucky enough to get my car home and leave it there. I hitch hiked it to work the next day, and maybe took the bus the next few days?
I usually use Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy for ALL my gluing chores and it seems to work for me, whether I'm gluing resin, spark plug wires, guitar string, clear plastic, etc.
I took the $10 that I was gonna use to buy tickets and folded in half (therefore doubling my money) and put it in my pocket. After all the odds are against me, and I have much better odds on a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH table.
I've heard of that being done, as there was this carpenter superintendent that wasn't too nice to the guys. Well he left his office to check on something, and someone took a dump right in his opened briefcase sitting on his desk. Gee I wonder why???
That is an awesome kit of a beautiful car, as I was lucky enough to watch it in action when I attended the Grand Prix of the United States in Watkins Glen, New York back in 1967, and I even got to talk to Dan Gurney himself at an informal meeting the night before the race.
