  1. Jim, you seem to have a lot of complaints with that kit that you just bought. If I were you, I'd take it back.
  2. Yeah the submarine races as well as the UFO sightings. One time I was with a young lady lookin' for UFO's and we saw the clan havin' a meetin.'
  3. I told my wife that I'd take her to the islands, however, Blue Island and Stoney Island were not what she had in mind.
  4. You can also get Arden parts at Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland.
  5. I've been usin' Tamiya Fine Surface Primer(white) lately and really likin' it. It goes on very thin and smooth. The least amount of primer, color coats, and clears will give you a great paint job and not hide the details such as door handles, scripts, and body trim including all your glass surroundings.
  6. I just love dem Mopars!!! Keep 'em comin'.
  7. Don't worry Harry, as a LOT of people don't know what they're talkin' about on any given subject.
  8. I wasn't scared, just careful as it was quite a bit different than the Midwest roads that I'm used to.
  9. If your gonna spend big bucks for racing gas, you'll need to bump up your timing as well. And if you don't have a high compression engine, regular fuel will work just fine. I haven't heard anything good about E85 fuel either.
  10. Being a "flatlander" I was very careful when I was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway.
  11. While I watched the video of the sale, it didn't show who outbid me which was disappointing.
  12. Back-in-the-day I drove go karts with the left foot for the brake and the right foot for the gas. In drivers Ed I was taught to use my right foot for both pedals. This came in handy especially when I learned to drive stick and need the left foot for the clutch pedal.
  13. Wow, that 1,000 mph car looks AWESOME!!!
  14. After MANY years of driving, I still can't figure out why people have to apply their brakes in order to use their turn signals??? I'm able to just move the stalk up or down to signal my intentions without stepping on the brake pedal with no problem what so ever. I guess the brake shops love it though. I know one woman who had a brand new Jaguar and needed a brake job at 10,000 miles. LOL!
  15. Oh well Greg, they're just two kits of many that have passed by us over the years.
  16. In all these years, I've never had any problems with the "Air Team." They did ask me to uncover the vin number the last time I was there earlier this year.
  17. Competition Resin may have them as well.
  18. 2 million dollars is a small price to pay, especially if one has that kind of money. Hopefully in due time he'll be "outa-da-woods."
  19. Interesting, please keep us posted. Thanks.
  20. Charlie's right as your boss may have to take the "next step" and have Enterprise clean up their act. It's not good for your business.
  21. Wow, that surf Nomad looks great, as I had started one also, but put it back in the box, nice paint job and all. Hopefully I'll finish mine someday. I hope mine looks as good as yours does.
  22. Occasionally but seldom I use a lamp/magnifier, and now that I also work in 1/48th scale it does help. The price was right also, as I got it from someone and just had to buy the heavy base as the clamp wouldn't work on my 50 year old desk.
  23. A mid-50's Lincoln Continental kit would be awesome, but I won't hold my breath for that or any other kit. Besides, I have enough to build and I'm getting tired of tying up ca$h for boxes of plastic.
