  1. Love it. Looking forward to seeing more.
  2. Try contacting Tim Boyd. He did several cross country moves and yhas a good idea of how to do it.
  3. I don't see that updating the kits is really makes sense financially. Also if you upgrade the chassis are you also going to update the engine. Then what about the inteior. How many more units will they really sell to justify the tooling cost. Round 2 for the most part spending their new tooling buget on sci fi. They will sell a lot more star wars and star trek kits in the long run. Me I'm happy to get some of the older kits reissed. Its really nice when they add back all the original parts that haven't been issued for years.
  4. Love it. Great start. The nascar kits are great parts kits for projects like this.
  5. Love it. Looks great.
  6. Love it came out great. As far as the area filled in from removing the roof if you look at the actual cars that area was filled in without worrying about makingnit look pretty.
  7. Cool project. Agree it should be in on the work bench as its a hot rod. Regardless I will be following. The strange thing is why station wagons are left alone as by the logic used for moving this applies to them also.
  8. Here is a link to a youtube video for how to use alclad. Second item down. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/how-to/
  9. One thing that might helpbyou would be to find a makerspace or hackerspace which are placesvthat you can go and have access to a variety of tools for projects. Many have 3d printers. Also they have classes so you can learn how to use the equiptment. This would allow you to get up to speed and get an idea of what software and 3d printer to get.
  10. Mock up looks great. You nailed the look.

  14. Not to belabor the point but often on the site the coversation turns to the golden rule. Often in regards to treat each other in a civil manner. This is another facet of the golden rule. How would you want to be treated if you were in these circumstances? ?
  15. Gotta agree 1/8 would be a better scale. Parts availibility. Also sixth scale is going to be huge and not many people are going have space for it.
  16. Actually super glue dries because of moisture it the air, it was designed ti be used for stiches and that why it glues your fingers together so well.
  17. I've gotten the info for the link to help harry. I'm waiting for some money and will be donating when It comes. Come on guys. If we all donate the price of a kit it will be a tremendous help.
