  14. For me and friends 2014 was a rough year. Several people I know had family medical problems. I had a heart attack in August that was a huge wake up call. Lots of lifestyle changes and I have been doing a lot better. Losing 30 pounds has helped and I'm hoping to lose another 20. The IPMS model club had the hobby shop close that we used for our meetings. We found another place to have meetings and then lost the usage of that facility. Fortunately the third time was the charm for us. On the positive side on the weather we have had some good rain so far however a friend had some flooding in the last big storm. Definitely hoping that 2015 will have less drama. Looking forward to getting a lot more modeling done for 2015 since I retired this year. What are others experiences with 2014 and expectations for 2015.
  15. On the original subject my guess would be that a majority of the problems caused by interpertation of the photographs. If the photos are being used to check the work then the flaws aren't going to be obvious. without the option of having the actual car there will always be the potential for flaws to keep. with that in mind it is impressive that the mark is hit a majority of the time.
  16. Very nice. How much more are you going to add? This is an amazing diorama.
  17. I'd be careful with using alcohol it removes tamiya lacquer paints. Found that out the hard way shot an interior with racing white. Thenb used waterbased paint for pleats. Used a qtip with alcohol and it took off the racing white.
  18. Dave thank you for giving the insight on how the process works. M3rry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
