  1. Interesting observations. On my iphone with Safari the site is showing http and warns that it is not secure. On my tablet using Chrome it also shows as not secure and is using http. This is consistent with what you have observed.
  2. Did you try clearing your cache when started having issues with android and Chrome?
  3. I know that Microsoft has done a update as somebody was complaining about it. I assume that was windows 10 and 11. It makes sense that Windows 7 would work becuase there aren't any updates happening and Linux is different. I'm surprised that you were having the issue with edge because others have gone to edge and it worked. Did you try clearing your cache for it? If you do get it to work then I suspect that Microsofts latest update may be causing issues with other browsers. I
  4. I'm using a Samsung tablet that has android os and I'm using Google Chrome. As far as I can tell the issues seem to be with Windows. However not everyone who has had issues has posted what they are using.
  5. I understand the sentiment about edge becuase I'm not a fan of Microsoft software. However there seems to be issues with Chrome and Windows. Chrome and windows have been recently updated and that seems to have aggravated the situation. The thing is edge is a windows product. Google Chrome was designed to worked with Android software first and Windows second. In addition the board uses Invision software. If there are issues a support ticket has to be submitted to see if they can fix the issue. That may take some time. It's also likely Chrome or windows will have to be the ones to fix it. Any upgrades to the board are going to take a bit becuase everything has to be backed up otherwise the board could be devastating if something goes wrong. At this point in time if you are having issues with Chrome then you need to use Edge until the issues get resolved. If your really against edge then you.need to try other browsers or deal with the limited functionality that Chrome is experiencing.
  6. So what is the story on the 3d printed Johan parts. Is Okey or Atomic City doing those? Regardless it seems like a flyer for the Powell was a great way to promote it. Seems like a missed opportunity.
  7. An update is no trivial task and there is no guarentee that it's going to fix the problem. As Dave has advised in forum problems try another browser.
  8. First part of this is the Johan booth. What I don't see is the Powell.
  9. Kit often refers to model kits however it can also refer to a set of tools for accomplishing a task.
  10. Nice work.
  11. Thanks for sharing this info. It better helps to understand what in ends up in kits.
  12. First off we don't know how many users are being affected. Maybe a poll would be in order. Second as it has been explained Dave is working on the problem with Invision. The board uses Invision software and that limits what can be done by Dave without their help. Third all of this takes time. Dave has suggested trying another browser such as Bing on windows or Safari on mac It shouldn't be that big of a deal to load another browser. It might be the quickest way to fix the problem at this time.
  13. Wow stunning model. As others have said I thought that the first pictures were of a real car. Great photography and diorama. Please show us more of the diorama.
  14. Lots of great stuff. Definitely not just Mustangs , Camaro, and Corvettes. I'm excited about that 1964 Malibu.
  15. Again thanks to all for providing info. It makes sense that Seville supplied the kits to Testors and since Seville went out of business around 2000 that there were no more kits produced after that.
  16. From the latest Round2 news.
  17. Definitely agree about getting at least a curbside version and maybe a full detail version in the future.
  18. I'm surprised that the directory was wrong. It makes sense that Seville did the release in 1999 but the mention of the 2006 reissue through me. Could that have been unsold stock that Testors had? However that seems to be a long time to hold on to old stock. Thanks to all for providing some answers and hopefully more about this can be clarified.
  19. So how was Testors able to produce those kits if the tooling wasn't compatible with model injection machines?
  20. Looks great.
  21. Would love to see more of this.
  22. In 1998 and 2006 Testors did reissues of the Johan Comet, Barracuda, and the AMX. (From the Directory of Model Car kits 8th edition) Since it has been often stated the the Johan tooling was not compatible with the standard model injection machines. How was it possible for Testors to produce those kits?
  23. Although I haven't had the issue I want to thank you for your time dealing with this issue and your keeping the site running smoothly.
