Great update. That dash is cool. Love seeing how you approach creating each piece to this puzzle. -
Lost in the world today is elegant design. Elegant design is finding the best solution to a problem. Unfortunately the solution to problems are typically overly complex. Unnecessary complexity leads to things being less reliable.

Although we can create different labels for modeling. I think that it is more common for us to fit into different categories at any time depending on a variety of circumstances. -

Great start. Kits provide the material to follow the vision. Kitbashing allows you to create whatever you want. -

Huge spider living by my door.
bobthehobbyguy replied to JollySipper's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Exactly. If you kill the spiders then the bugs they eat are going to be a problem. If I get one in the house I move them outside. -
Safety in the 50's
bobthehobbyguy replied to TarheelRick's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
When dragracing started there was little thought to safety. There were no fire suits. I remember reading the Don Garlits got burned badly and was lucky becuase he was wearing a heavy leather jacket. Every rule that is in place today come from learning the hard way unfortunately. -

Friendly loveable Squirrels..
bobthehobbyguy replied to A modeler named mike's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Back on to squirrels. When I lived in silicon Valley I used to watch use the squirrels use the phone lines as pathways. They do the same thing here. They are also fearless. When they want to go from the front yard to the back they run up one of the big trees, banzai onto to roof, run across the roof(they can be heavy footed), and then leap to a tree in the back. -
A question was asked and an answer was given. Obviously this wasn't the answer some wanted to hear. In the meantime Dave is working on fixing the current board issues and we also are getting close to seeing a new issue of MCM. Again thank you for keeping this site running smoothly and your and the others efforts with giving us a great magazine and website experience.
