All good points Dan. Lots of things to be considered. Most relevant is how many would be interested in paying for it. Added thought. Although there may be an interest in a digital archive there are some major hurdles to be overcome for it to happen.

Back on to squirrels. When I lived in silicon Valley I used to watch use the squirrels use the phone lines as pathways. They do the same thing here. They are also fearless. When they want to go from the front yard to the back they run up one of the big trees, banzai onto to roof, run across the roof(they can be heavy footed), and then leap to a tree in the back.

A question was asked and an answer was given. Obviously this wasn't the answer some wanted to hear. In the meantime Dave is working on fixing the current board issues and we also are getting close to seeing a new issue of MCM. Again thank you for keeping this site running smoothly and your and the others efforts with giving us a great magazine and website experience.

Funny skunk story. My sister and had two cats. I was insider the house and one of the cats was also. The screen door had opening for the cats to go in and out. It was later in the afternoon and I here the cat grow. I look outside and shunk is coming towards the screen. I run over and closed the slider. There was a bowl of cat food on the patio and it was often a buffet for all of the wildlife at night. I got the impression that the cat was saying you can eat the food but you aren't coming into my house.

Don't think it's that the squirrels are evil they are simply forging for food. If you feed them and establish that your home is a source for food then they are going to go there for food. The solution is to not feed them. A while back the squirrels were tearing up the watering system in the summer becuase they were looking for water. He started putting out dishes of water and that solved the water problem. If they are going after wiring then you have to find a way to discourage them.

Cool project. Some interesting ideas.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Does sound doable however the big catch is the issue of copying. It's a lot of work regardless and needs to be profitable for the magazine.

Don't see it as being negative it is being realistic. And to your list of what-ifs somebody who wants to see it really happen could take on the task of making it happen.

Collections of kits are impressive but collections of built kits is far more impressive.

You have to be careful feeding them. You don't want to make them to get too dependent on being feed. I don't feed my by they have lots of pine cones to feed them.

If you google "google chrome issues 2023" there is a lot of info regarding what google has been trying to fix. It's been going on for a while.

I have a bunch of squirrels that live in the trees by my house. They are entertaining to watch.

In my opinion the phone companies want more people to go to cell phones only. The infrastructure maintenance cost are expensive.

I basically did the same thing. When I got my cell phone I got rid of the landlines. It was an unnecessary expense.
