  1. The biggest difference between the 3 is the 57 grille and hood. Minor changes in the emblems between the 3. (Just to make it a bit confusing there was also a "First series" 55 that was nearly identical in appearance to the 54.)
  2. I was hoping to see this again...nice job.
  3. Works just fine for me..Thanks!
  4. looks great..one of my favorite kits
  5. Very nicely done.... the repairs sure don't show.
  6. FOUND THEM .. they are "brake drums" for mounting the wide wheels/slicks for the drag race version of the sedan.
  7. LOL...at least you're not jealous
  8. Modelhaus makes 2 1970 Ford wagons ... a Country Squire and a Country Sedan.
  9. Modelhaus makes 4 different years of Metros 54,55 59 60. all kits make either a hardtop or a convertible.....based on the old Hubley kit, they're 1/24th scale. There was also a Hudson badged Metro in 1-1 scale...
  10. Dawn dish washing liquid.....soak 'em (it might take a couple of sessions).
  11. me too...and my computer is faster everywhere since I changed to Firefox.
  12. Thanks for the additional pics...." muffler bearings" eh? I thought that might be the LeMans Cadillac. very nice models....
  13. You can just go back and edit out the post...just write deleted or never mind. if no one responds it'll "disappear" fairly quickly depending on where it was posted.
  14. My wife forgot her purse in a shopping cart this afternoon and a man found it and brought it to our house (a 6 mile round trip for him). Made a new friend.
  15. A bit of useless trivia .... Mr. Crawford's drinking habits had gotten the better of him by this time and he was said to have been intoxicated while filming the series. He couldn't remember his lines so the dialog was kept very brief. As was any physical activity. Lots of interesting cars in the show..even a hot rod or two
  16. Hi.. yeah masking tape should work, there are some tight areas around the side trim. I haven't used them but some people use sanding sticks which I assume allow you to focus your sanding efforts better. I like the dechromed early Bug look, I have one like that planned for my Tamiya VW.
  17. yep...it was Joe Amato. the 2nd of 3 straight!!!
  18. I assume you mean the "chrome" trim? Some people carefully scrape it off with an exacto knife.... .I use sandpaper..slower but safer, no risk of gouging the plastic.
  19. What's the deal with the muffler car? could we see(more of) it too? Looks like several interesting vehicles in your display area....
  20. A stock bodied 49 Coupe de Ville and an accurate 56 F100 would be so nice .. but .Foose only versions? A Foose F100 based on the old F100 molds? would they dare?
