Apparently my mailbox here in the forum is full, I just deleted all messages in it , so it should work now. I tried to delete messages individually, but it would not respond, so I deleted all. Sorry for the inconvenience.......'Z'

Chevy Tri-Five floor pan/chassis
Steven Zimmerman replied to Intmd8r's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I think this is the best, IMHO, tri - five chassis on the market. Poseable steering, separate frame from the floor pans and exhausts , most well detailed. I do not know how it lines up with the Revell offerings, but again, best frame out there.......'Z' -
I'm not sure why it won't go - try sending me a friend request.........'Z'

I have given a lot of thought to this. I have seen too many small one man casting operations, with great product, go "website", then go out of business later because they could not keep up with demand. I have talked to those who recommend I open a website, citing my orders will double or triple immediately. All my spare time ( I'm retired) is devoted to this 'ZSWHEELZ' now. I'm not willing to give up what little spare time I have left, to hunt for the almighty dollar.I am quite comfortable with the way things are, and am not going to change that; at least not at this point. If you're not willing to purchase my product because of the way I market it, that is your prerogative. I offer what I feel is a good product at a good price, haven't had anyone complain, return a product, or complain about my methods until now, and have been offering these wheels for over 5 years now. Sorry you feel that way, Russ. You're entitled to your opinion, but at this point I'm not going to change anything. Have a nice day..........'Z'

Jason, those are nice wheels, but they are not my product.......'Z'

Sorry, only sell on my face book home page under the album 'ZSWHEELZ', at NNL east, Toledo NNL, Detroit NNL, and local shows within driving distance of my home. I'm sorry, but those are the parameters I have set, in order to retain what little sanity I have left. Don Holthaus once told me, that if I ever cast and offered resin products, I would never have time to complete another model....he was right. It takes just a few minutes to join FACEBOOK, another few minutes to search for my homepage. I'm sorry, but that's my choice........Steven Zimmerman, aka the 'Z'man, 'Z', etc.

What kind of job do you have?
Steven Zimmerman replied to signguy2108's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
65 , retired a few years ago. 31 years at Channellock, Inc, last 20 of those as a cutter grinder. Custom automotive paint since I was 21, been an avid model builder since I was 9. Deeply involved in the automotive scene here since I learned how to drive, know my way around a car pretty well, and can rebuild the 'older stuff' from the ground up, if I have to.........Steven Zimmerman -
IMHO, do what YOU LIKE BEST, no matter what other's opinions are.........'Z'

I NEVER thought I'd say this, but I gotta get one of these !..............'Z'

One thing you don't see often in our hobby - ....Shiny tires !....Attend any car show or automotive event, and you will see an abundance of ARMOR ALL type products on tires, something pretty much ignored by our fellow builders. I use actual tire care products to achieve this.........'Z'

I got a 68 /0 Pro Mod Chevelle from Bandit not long ago. Nice piece, IMHO

AMT TIRE PACKS
Steven Zimmerman replied to RAT-T's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
the box contains 4 F60 - 15 and 4 L60 - 15, AMT 15" wheels fit these tires. I haven't found any AMT wheels in 15" that won't fit these tires, so far. Other wheels may have to be modified to fit. IMHO, one of the BEST products to hit the market in a long, long time........'Z' -
Looking for louvers
Steven Zimmerman replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
AAAARGH, ya beat me to it, ! -
Perfect chop !...Lovin this, keep us posted.....'Z'

Agreed. Black is my favorite color to shoot, either from an airbrush, or from a can. .A good paint job , no matter what color , depends 99 percent on preparation. You can have a perfectly prepared model, and screw up the paint job, but you CANNOT lay a perfect paint job on a poorly prepped surface, no matter what the color..............'Z'

Look for scale siding, in plastruct or evergreen. Several different types / sizes are available. -
embossing-powder, replacing flocking?
Steven Zimmerman replied to fiatboy's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Do you understand static electricity ? And I have had models sitting in the case for years after being completed, with no flocking residue on the inside of the windshield, and have it show up ( usually when cleaning for a contest)Your answer sounds easy, try it sometime..... -
embossing-powder, replacing flocking?
Steven Zimmerman replied to fiatboy's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Embossing powder does not 'shed' later on, ever try to get flocking residue off the inside of your model's windshield ?..... I could care less about how embossing powder 'feels', more interested in it's durability and ease of use. Just my opinion, but I no longer have flocking anywhere in my hobby room.
