I was able to get the engine built and wired plus a second coat of black on the body. I also did the over spray on the chassis. Next will be painting a white stripe on the back.

John I think Mustangs look good in yellow and black too. Looking forward to seeing you build this one.

Nickolas this is coming together nicely for you. Great detail work!

Looks good John. -
I was going through my parts boxes and found 2 Duster bucket seats and I worked in the Sport Darts dashboard that is the same as what is in the Scamp. I’ve gone back to work now so my bench time is limited.

Thanks Steve Thanks Scott, I already have saved that same transporter for reference. Scott it’s a resin body that I picked up several years ago.

Looks good in white Jeff. -
Thanks Jimmy, the chrome spray is a little expensive but I think it’s worth it. Thanks Scott, for some reason I was thinking Hearts when I typed this but it’s actually Bandit Resins as 1972 coronet as posted Thanks John, yeah you’re right it’s Bandit Resins Thanks Rich, I just happen to have one of these in my stash and it will work for me. Thanks Carl. I’m thinking about a white stripe on the back or on the sides.

Thanks Kieth Thanks Jim Thanks Tom Thanks Scott Thanks Jim Thanks Hector Thanks David, the Duster parts helped a lot with bringing out the detail. Thanks David Thanks John, the blue engine came from the Mopar engine color chart I have. There’s a note with the mid year color change. Thanks Eric Thanks Chris Thanks Ron, you may want to pick up a Duster to go with it. Thanks Larry Thanks Steve, I had already decided on my colors and then went to the internet to find pictures of Demons and the second one I saw was white.

This is a Heart’s Bandit resin body for the 71 Plymouth Scamp that is interchangeable with the Revell 68 Dart body. I’ve already started with Scale Finishes Dodge Black and using Duster seats. I’m missing a Scamp dashboard and not sure if there’s anything else that would work for me. I sprayed the front grill and back bumper with the Revell Chrome Spray and I’m impressed with how easy it is to use and the results.

This is the new release Dodge Demon that I changed out the following parts with parts from the 71 Duster kit. 340 engine A frame and engine bay rear axle Exhaust Front seats Air conditioning Rear spoiler Rear view mirrors Paint is Scale Finishes W3 Dodge Bright White with a black and gray interior. This is number 5 of 8 Mopars for my upcoming 8 car transporter with all 1971’s loaded on it. Your comments are always appreciated.

Nice looking Cutlass Gerald. What are you doing for your wheels?
-
I’ve been able to get it on its wheels now and have some little odds and ends to finish up before sending it to Under Glass.
-
Thanks Carl Thanks Nicholas, I used Scale Finish’s Dodge W3 Bright White (1971).
-
Nicholas excellent engine details and nice work on your white vinyl top.
