  1. Well while we're all delusional " Would like to see a Bugatti 57sc in large scale. " I'll drink to 'dat, and add: Phantom Corsair and/or Cord (everybody jump in and remind me of the AMT one in 1/12th) A Series of '32 Fords Stock and not Of course any of these should kitted with fantastic detail, maybe some metal even.
  2. Norway is not a 3rd world nation. Tommy, I'm sure if you went into a good auto body paint and supply store you could find a suitable two-part polyester filler that would work well and be of equal quality to anything here in the States. In European nations there is U-pol, Spieshecker (sp) and BASF to name a few. And Tamiya makes a great 2-part filler in a small and large tube, I'm just not crazy about the cured color.
  3. You mean your not! I guess I'm more fortunate than I thought
  4. Wait a minute... you have to be taught how to balance a checkbook? money goes in,money goes out, when there is no more money, your "balanced" Funny thing, I knew a girl who just kept writing checks long after the money was gone, thought that as long as there were checks, there was money
  5. That makes a lot of sense. To add to that, many modelers build Brand Specific. Make a large sheet(and price accordingly) For a multitude of scripts and badging of that brand.
  6. Hmm, Sparkly! Who makes a paint like that?
  7. I was thinking more like one of those Rotisseries that some shops use... you know ...something useful
  8. From the book "The Octopus" "All the traffic will bear"
  9. This has been one of my dream builds, the 12 original AWB Dodges and Plymouths. I believe there are decals to do all 12 original "factory" cars. They were built by a company called Amblewagen, an ambulance builder run by Dick Branstner.
  10. What wheel wells would yield the correct ones,or is it more involved than that.
  11. Advantage, Megahobby and Hobbylinc all have good deals at anyone time. You just have to shop around
  12. Anyone try a cotton stump? I saw them in the art/paint aisle at Hobby lobby.
  13. Well... if you use Windex, remember that some versions contain ammonia, BUT if you really want to cheap out why not windshield washer solvent. I honestly don't understand this cheap out attitude with the paint work on a model.
  14. "There is no end to stupidity of some humans on this planet. " Andy, Your giving the knuckledraggers that do this way too much credit by putting them in the human race. Hopefully the Darwin theory will rid the earth of this ilk.
  15. Had no problem with them. Used their free shipping offer and was great.
  16. My bottle says 1 1 1 - Tricloroethane. This is an OLD bottle that went bad and actually I've had it sitting in my patio waiting for it to evaporate so i can throw out the bottle. I'm not a real fan of CA accelerator, but others use it and really amaze me what they do with CA and kicker. If I do use it I've gone over to the pump spray or the aerosol spritzer.
  17. I think I would use a flat acrylic clear, that would have a better chance of curing. how is the whitewall done? with paint or decal or.... I have use the scouring powder and a coarse brush to dull tires in the past.
  18. like this too and the tires look great. So does the rest of the car.
  19. Tamiya has a color in their AS line, AS-12, Bare Metal Silver. Looks very convincing. Car looks interesting especially the engine. Might have to get one of those kits.
  20. I'm impressed by the models (any models) that get started and finished.
  21. Excellent work! This build may even eclipse the 'Cuda.
  22. Well after this I guess "I seen it wit me own eyes " doesn't mean much
  23. I'll need a bigger trailer!! and more tables, BOO-YA!!!!
  24. There is still time to remedy that. Although the Dunn car wasn't chopped it would have helped IMHO.
  25. NICE!! Always tugs at the 'ol heart strings when I see one.
