  1. Isn't that the one with a "complement" of 1971-1973 parts mixed-up ? I'm not familiar with the various cosmetic changes between those years , so I can't chime-in in-regard to that .
  2. Cool Canadian Cat ! Great work on the decals --- especially near the door lines .
  3. Gorgeous 'Vette ! Its bright red colour stands-out against that wonderful New Scotland background ? Keep up the great work !
  4. That's a lovely D-100 , Al ! How'd that Gen III Hemi and its transmission fit ? I'm interested in what mods --if any-- were necessary to slide that combo into the truck's chassis . Wheels look nice, too ( and I typically don't like bigger-than-15" - 16" wheels on classic vehicles ) . They fill the wheel wells nicely !
  5. Nice , perfect '72 Nova ! I have the c.1996 issue of the Old Pro in the stash ( Lord knows how many of the original issue I've built over the years -- K-Mart used to sell them for something like 50 cents back in the 80's ! ) . I'm planning on building a phantom 1972 LT-1 COPO from mine .
  6. Looks like the Bill Kraft Marlin kit . Bill Kraft Nash-Rambler-AMC was in Norwalk , Ca. --- a few miles away from where I grew up . There was some friendly competition between Kraft and Ricker (which was in Whittier , Ca. -- two blocks from where I grew up) back in the day . I don't know when Kraft went out-of-business ( I suspect that it was in c.1971 ) , but Ricker held in there through c.1981 . But , I digress... I'm looking forward to seeing how your version comes together !
  7. Here's a page from the 1970 Dodge Scat Pack salesman catalogue which mentions the MPC promotional models : https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dealerships/_DealershipLetters-06d.shtml?load_img=27
  8. Super sweet D-100 there , Matt !
  9. OUTSTANDING C/20 , Kurt ! All of the modifications and scratching truly shine here . Keep 'em coming !
  10. From the AMT Parts Pack ( 283 Chevy and Pontiac / "B&M Hydro" trans) . Trans looks good to my eyes...
  11. Maybe the single four barrel-atop the aftermarket intake is still around ( including the non-stock air cleaner ) , and maybe the Satellite / Road Runner tiller . Body and interior tub were modified to Satellite Sebring / GTX livery back in '95 or '96 (along with the much-welcomed firewall details , and the superior-to-earlier-offerings Six Barrel induction / Holley 2300's) .
  12. I know... I was just jabbin' . When this kit hit the shelves 32 years ago , I was in heaven ! It was one of the first post-earthquake kits I built ---- I was so peeved at that mirror ! Haha !
  13. Likely , a direct-reissue of the 1988 original --- hopefully sans the moulded-on interior rear view mirror .
  14. OUTSTANDING ! The outside photos' lighting really makes that car look... real . With the snowy backdrop , it looks like March 1968 , and the car's on its maiden voyage . It'd be nifty if you could 'photoshop' some salty snow splashes on it --- that'd really sell it !
  15. Another season in the Guthmiller series ! I already envision insanely-detailed 8 Lug Wheels , and a 389 with working linkage . Like all of your works , I'll be following ?
  16. YES ! It was 351 cubes by then ; not sure if the 305 was still on the option list . While I'd vote for a 1967-1968 C-25 , I'd also like to see if Revell would convert their '65-'66 C-10 to a GMC C-15 or C-25 , GMC V6 and all . I've always thought it would be interesting to build a GMC 351 or 458 with a 4-71 or 6-71 oxidiser , headers , and the Buick 238 V6 HEI ignition .
  17. Mea Culpa . I suppose that the 275hp 327 listed isn't the L-79 (see link) . I recognise that Chevrolet was down-playing the output of the spirited little 327 due to the addition of the then-new 295hp 350 which was a Super Sport exclusive (no mention of any iteration of the 396 in early literature) . http://oldcarbrochures.org/United States/Chevrolet-Camaro/1967-Chevrolet-Camaro/1967_Chevrolet_Camaro_Brochure/slides/1967_Chevrolet_Camaro-14-15.html
  18. Other than grocery shopping and trips every-three-days to the fuel station for a pack of Marlboro Reds , I stay inside . In reality , this isn't much different than my usual routine before this fiasco ( hahaha ! ) , as I tend to be a hermit anyhow . Growing-up as a Latchkey Kid , and as a member of the Blank Generation , I'm used to going it alone anyhow .
  19. Wonderful work thus far ! Best of luck with the change from blue metallic to orange (though the white interior seems to have taken well over the blue plastic) Here's my "Bratty Brit" ; his name is Oliver Sabastian , and he's 17 years (but still acts like a kitten in many respects) . Keep up the fun work !
  20. Obviously not a Super Sport option --- his was an RS . Here's an example : https://www.gaaclassiccars.com/vehicles/25581/1967-chevrolet-camaro-rally-sport The photos exhibited the usual L79 features , including the Turbo-Jet 327 air cleaner decal . Another former coworker bought a '67 RS brand new in late '66 , and it had the L79 . Maybe it was cancelled before 01/01/1967 ?
  21. Good call on adding the A.I.R. Pump . Life-long California resident here , and am all-too-familiar with the overkill emissions standards . Other than PVC and sealed fuel-delivery systems ( 1970 & later ) , little else made sense . The dreadful roadside emissions check-ups ended in late 1975 ; I'm sure that many of us recall the blue decal that was affixed to the inside of the driver's side of the windshield , lower-portion ( I'll see if I can find an image ) . Loophole : At one time , vehicles (commercial vehicles were exempt) were smogged based upon the year of the engine ! Those 215 V8-powered Vega's , LUV's , etc. , were actually exempt , even when they were new (e.g. , engine swap done by 'shade tree mechanics' , and not by paid-professionals ). The A.I.R. Pump , et alia , wasn't exclusive to California models . A former coworker had a friend whom bought a 1967 L-79 Camaro coupe brand new in late 1966 ( graduation present ) . I saw photos of the car --- it had the A.I.R. Pump... and this was in New York . Too bad that the new-tool 1967 Camaro and 1969 Nova 396 & 427 engines have an 'incomplete' A.I.R. Pump setup --- pump-only , but no tubes , etc. I'm certain that Nickey --and Motion-- kind of left the emissions equipment off when they built those 427's. I could only find the EXEMPT sticker pertaining to the ( Jerry Brown special ) 'NOX" ( Nitrates of Oxygen ) system . I used to have an image of the blue-coloured 1975 decal ( it was on a 1966 Caprice that a customer owned ) , but it's since vanished from my files...
  22. WOW !!! What an absolute GEM !!! Perfect colour combo for a gentleman's muscle car : bold , yet reserved . ( I honestly don't recall having seen a '68 4-4-2 in person , in all of my 50 years ---- and I grew up near thee world famous Whittier Boulevard ! )
  23. The Racing Chumps release had the chassis and dash from the 1975-1978 B-Body Plymouth & Dodge , complete with single exhaust and the dreaded catalytic converter .
  24. The closest thing that can be done to replicate a 1972 Dart Sedan would be to start with the Revell 1968 Dart , and modify accordingly . There's a lot of kit-bashing and scratch building involved , especially for an accurate --interior and exterior-- replica .
  25. I've got the "Funnelweb Spider" stance issue straightened out . Ostensibly , I had them on the wrong sides ! Haha ! Time for me to get me some real glasses --- the Dollar Store reading glasses are okay , but... Thanks again for your guidance !
