  1. Bring it back-to-centre --- - 1974-1977 Monaco ( the C-Body ; called 'Royal Monaco' from 1975-1977 ) . As seen in Hill Street Blues and CHiPs . - 1980-1988 "M"-Body Diplomat / Gran Fury - 1974-1980 Nova 9C1 - 1978-1990 Caprice 9C1 - 1991-1996 Caprice 9C1 ( yes , I'm aware of the Revell 1991-1992 Caprice -- I'd like to see 1993-1994 & 1995-1996 models ) - c.1982-c.1986 LTD II
  2. Movie car , but... That would be cool to see a hatchback version of a 1973 Ventura , complete with the post-trailer crash roof option . Now , let's not forget the 1973 Grandville as flogged by Bill Hickman !
  3. Nice to finally see Hang 10 decals for the Dart Sport ! Certainly , that package was available from 1974-1975 (with any engine , but all were automatic-only) , but I'll take 'em in a box labelled "1976" . The last issue of this kit ( labelled as a "1975" ) didn't include the pad printed tyres --- another selling point here for this iteration . I still have an incomplete 1975 (which I've been working on since I bought it in c.2014) . I'd decided to build it as a curbside ; after much fiddling , I put the almost-finished kit back in its box . The wheelbase is off side-to-side on the front , which I didn't realise until I'd installed the chassis into the body / interior ! Next time , I will be pirating the AMT 1971 Duster for its engine compartment , suspension , etc. , and a resin-pop of a 727 trans .
  4. 1971-1972 Barracuda convertible on The Brady Bunch ( and Mannix ) . These were 1971 'BH27' models which were cosmetically-updated with 1972 front and rear , as Chrysler stopped making convertibles after the 1971 model year .
  5. I'm not alone in hoping that the 1965 Chevelle Wagon could be modified into a 300 two door , and maybe backdated to a 1964 (and , perhaps , the tooling insert for the I-6 was discovered ?) . I got fooled by that well-executed 1966-1967 Nova wagon "box art" . I didn't even notice the position of the wipers ; the creator of that faux box art mentioned it . Whatever Round2 decides to do with a wagon --or the wagon-trailer-Nova-funny-car trio-- that the tow vehicle matches the Nova F/C vintage .
  6. That giant Pro Stock-type scoop was only in the 80's issue and the recent Racing Chumps version of c.2004 . I really , really wish that Round2 would include the wheels from the Smokey Convoy issue ---- anything but those stupid "dartboard" wheels ( yUcK ! )
  7. Gorgeous GS-X ! I really like that Light Gunmetal ; a colour which works on new and old cars alike --- timeless . I have one of these kits in my "To Do" stack . I'm thinking of painting it a more of a Buick-fitting colour ; I'll have to research other 1970 Buick colours (maybe a grey-green metallic) .
  8. I was in contact with Michael Davis (when he was still with us) some ten years ago . He told me how he and Rob Tyner were avid model builders , esp. the AMT offerings ! Fantastic work with those kits !
  9. The '66-'67 Chevy II wagon would be quite lovely ! Have the L79 from the 1966 Nova as an option to a stock 283 or 327 ; an I-6 would be fantastic , too . Truly , a 1964-1965 Chevelle two door 300 wagon would be the best ! Same engines as listed above .
  10. I've been using aerosol engine colours on primered polystyrene for 25+ years . No extraordinary prep necessary what-so-ever . FWIW , I've never seen a blue 340 prior to the 1969 model year ( some early examples were red ; later examples were orange ) then again from May 1971-1973 (different shade of blue than the 1969-1970 blue) . Here are two examples : disregard the cap's colour on the Dupli-Color can .
  11. Chrysler Engine Turquoise . It's available in rattle cans (though you may have to order it if your source is your local auto parts store) . Which engine are you painting ? 318 , 340 , or 383 ? If so , the 318 and 340 were red ; the 383 would be turquoise .
  12. You're right ! Forest for its trees or some-such . I was , however , noticing the vehicles in the background of the box art : 1955-1957 Chevy and the Willy's Coupe ---- both of which are still around .
  13. I can realistically imagine this , but with the 1965 Chevelle Wagon instead of the Chevy II Wagon .
  14. MCMLXVIII ceir cyhyrau Esquive
  15. I'll agree that more AMC products would be welcomed , esp. an Ambassador of the c.1968 vintage you desire . For this matter , I'd love to see : - 1970-1972 Gremlin (tooling needs backdated --- add some Randall X-R decals and Group 19 parts while you're at it) - 1971 Hornet S/C - 1971-1974 Matador Sedan - 1969 Hurst S/C Rambler - Earlier iterations of the J-Series pickups (toss the Tornado OHC 6 in there , too !) I laughed aloud at your quest to purchase and destroy every MPC 1968 Annual Coronet !
  16. I missed the first ~40 minutes , having logued-on to my YouTube at 13:45 PST ( one may "rewind" the stream to the beginning to see the three automotive kits ) . The Supernatural Impala looks quite nice ! The full-front-bumper 1970 1/2 Camaro is lovely . The 1972 Vega P/S = Oh. My. God. !!
  17. Well , the Dodge and Plymouth B-bodies from the '68 era were dubbed " Coke Bottle " design , so... If that's what it'd take to get that '68 WS23 out , then I say Coke-it-out !
  18. IMO , the only way to make a 1968-1970 Coronet is via shared-tooling with the Revell 1968-1969 & 1970 Charger kits . The Coronet R/T and , optionally , the Super Bee share the Charger's dashboard ; the wheelbase and the entire chassis would spot-on ; and , of course , the 440 and Hemi engines , etc. , are shared .
  19. I found the thread that I'd started just over six years ago ; there may be others' threads as well .
  20. RE: The 1968 Coronet R/T : Prior to the involvement / ownership of AMT , et al. , tooling , by Round2 , AMT proposed ( prototype as well ? I don't remember that detail ) an all-new 1968 Coronet R/T . For whatever reason(s) , the product was shelved .
  21. Not sure if this is specific to the Club line of the E-Series ; however , it does mention that the 300 ( 4.9 litre ) six is standard , with the 351 (unspecified if it's the 335-Series "M" or the Windsor) and 400 ( AFAIK , that's the 335-Series engine) . http://oldcarbrochures.org/United States/Ford Motor Company Trucks-Vans/1977_Trucks_and_Vans/1977-Ford-Club-Wagons-Brochure/slides/1977_Ford_Club_Wagons-04-05.html
  22. Eye , four won , am pleased as pie to see that LUV Truck make its triumphant return ! "When I say I'm in love , you'd better believe I'm in love , L-U-V !"
  23. Absolutely outstanding , Herr Ludwig ! I've been tempted by the allure of that kit for a long time , yet its Sirens' Call hath been ignored by yours truly for 30+ years . Your example has catalysed my interest in tracking one down now ! Keep up the great work !
  24. I think that I've used the TS-13 maybe twice (one instance was a big mistake ! I'd sprayed it over Testors Turbine Bronze [ 1968 Dodge colour ] on an AMT 1976 Matador... And it never cured !) . I love Tamiya paints , and I use them almost exclusively . The only time that I don't use them is if there's a colour that they don't make (e.g. , American Car colours) , or if the comparable Gunze paint is available .
