Show Me Some Hearses!
Swifster replied to Swifster's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
These are interesting. I like them all. With only having one, I'm leaning towards a stock build, but I haven't made up my mind. . -

A 1956 or 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk would be nice... -
Show Me Some Hearses!

OK, I found my Heavenly Hearse from 30 or so years ago. Give me some ideas. Right now I'm thinking stock. Give me a reason to think otherwise. -
Moebius has scored on every kit. 1950's cars, 1960's cars, semi trucks and trailers.... Dave, what's next?

AMT's Horizon TC3- Loser from the past, out of box!
Swifster replied to Faust's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I won't say they were 'loser' cars. Many of these cheaper cars from the 1980's wound up as cheap race cars in SCCA IT racing (Improved Touring). I have a few Rabbit's, Scirocco's, and a Citation X-11. Some cars (RX-7's, BMW M3's, etc) do make better race cars than others. A TC-3 or an 024 would make great additions to an IT line up. -

The newest model year in your stash
Swifster replied to gtx6970's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The newest in the stash is a Meng 2010 Ford F-350, 2009 Dodge Challenger and a 2006 Dodge Magnum. -
<----------- 1964 Studebaker Daytona. But I'm realistic. The 1/1 car didn't sell and neither would the model. The variations of the '57-'58 Fords and Tri-5 Chevys should be no-brainers. I love to see the '57 Nomad and a regular wagon. 1970 Charger R/T 1967/68 Cougar 1968/69 AMC Javelin I would love for some company to do a nicely detailed '48 Tucker.

Tool Extension possibilities

I'd like a '69 Dodge Coronet R/T. Or even a '68 Coronet -
70 Torino GT Grille "Open Headlights"
Swifster replied to MrBuick's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Motor City Resin Casters has had various trans kits of the '70 Torino. You might want to see if he'll sell the grille separate. The kits are $40. -

1966 Chrysler 300, Update, 5/1, DONE!!
Swifster replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Steve, I just found this thread. I love the 300's. My second car was a '67 300 in the red with a white interior and a white vinyl top. I loved that car. Will be watching to how this comes out. -
Local Hobby Shp vs. Mega-Store
Swifster replied to CometMan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Since moving back to Michigan, I'm blessed with two large hobby shops (Great Lakes Hobby and Whistle Stop Hobby). GLH is only a mile from home. If Hobby Lobby as something I want and the price is right (with the help of their 40% off coupon) I might get something there. Central Florida had nothing like the two up here. Unfortunately, there is nothing up here that would keep me from moving back to the land of sunshine... -
American 1:25 scale four door sedan and wagon promos and kits
Swifster replied to Junkman's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
There are various issues of the Chevy Nomads from 1955 to 1957. At the hobby store there was a '41 Ford woody wagon and a '49 Mercury Woody wagon. -
American 1:25 scale four door sedan and wagon promos and kits

Let's not forget the recently released... Monogram 1957 Ford Del Rio wagon AMT 1970 Ford Galaxie 4-dr Cop Car (bad roof and all) Revell 2006 Dodge Charger (street and police versions) Revell 2006 Dodge Magnum AMT 2005 Chrysler 300 Lindberg 1991 Ford Crown Vic I know there was a '91 Chevy Caprice cop car? Maybe also an Impala SS? EDIT: I forget who made this, but I have a promo of the 1995 Chrysler Cirrus. -
I'm going to have to get a couple as well, and a couple Darts (or 3 or 4). I think these cars were much better with the 340. A little kit bashing is in order.

I think a slant six and an auto will find a home in my FIRST one. I swear, some people cry over the dumbest stuff. There are enough Mopars of the approximate vintage to make whatever combination you desire. Would a bench seat be wanted? Absolutely, but I'm sure I'll come up with something. By the way, there is no visual difference between a 413, a 426W or a 440. So the intake and air cleaner are off. The stuff is out there. About the only engine that isn't out there is the 318 poly engine that Chrysler used until 1966.

I have two LFC cabs in resin.

Thanks for they extra posts guys. What is an EMHAR kit? I've never heard of it. Khier, I've never seen a photo of the Corvettes mixed in with the standard Chevy's. The pics on the car haulers with Vettes had nothing BUT Vettes. Did Chevy 'mix and match'? As far as trucks go, I don't know if my skills are good enough to fab up a complete chassis. I thought that, as a roller, the Blitz might be close. Is a Cameo frame close to an LFR frame in length that it could be modified?
