welcome.
sweet corona. i like the 80s feel of it. not bad at all.
im one of the hand full that like to build imports on here, especially this style.
looking forward to the next 2 projects.
well between taking care of my new born and these WIPs i actually got something worth posting.
since the last pic, i have shot it with primer to check out the flaws. found a few scratches that need putty. then i though about what kind of front spoiler i wanted. it was either mild chin spoiler or a something with a bit more um, well you'll see.
thats about it for now. i should be able to get the lip done soon and have a fresh coat of primer on it.
thanks for looking.
yuup, sweet color choice. i like the engine details. it even has A/C..lols
"up in smoke" in one and the visors? "fear and loathing in las vegas"?? maybe?
haha, reminds me of a hotwheel. looks great.
as for the pics, if your camera has a macro setting, flower symbol. use it, it helps focusing in on smaller objects and getting up close.
Ok. So I'm shooting primer onto some parts of my impala build. I'm going with a metallic blue exterior. I was wondering what blue I could use to match the 1/1 blue interior??
Thanks in advance
sweet, im also working on a 67 impala. same kit and all. but no replica for me. i like the work so far. that bench seat is pretty sweet.
any pics of the car you are replicating?
ah, thanks skip. gonna have to look into that. extra precautions are good. i have noticed that aoshima is now putting the white tracing type of paper with their decals now as to before they didn't. the decal sheets would have the patterns of the plastic baggy they were in. as if there was some moisture trapped in and had a reaction. so this paper might just be a good idea for the photp albums.
this is great to know. i have wondered if it was good to do.
on that blue tissue, is it regular blue tissue paper like the party supply stuff or is it some different tissue?
yup, he's doing good. he was able to get in contact with me a couple of weeks ago. great to hear that he's getting back on track. im anxious to get my stuff...
