  1. buddy just bought a 2016 Challenger 392 Scat Pack.... hella fun car. Im a die hard chevy guy..... but I really like his challenger.
  2. Facebook is the best bet... under Steven Zimmerman , has a catalogue of all his wheels..... very nice product, excellent to deal with.
  3. in the mean time, a guy that goes by the name of ART ROLL on facebook, casts a really nice monte carlo CL nose. and Jevries out of the Netherlands does a great LS conversion.
  4. ..... I send all my parts to Chrome-tech USA 6x8" rack.... 27.50, they plate it and send it back to you.
  5. Samsung, washers and dryers are available in burnt orange, ruby red, and royal blue metallic. Sold lots of them working at a furniture store in town.
  6. have it shipped to someone that you know in the states, and have them send it to you. I am in Canada and they do not ship to me, so when ever I ordered I had it sent to a buddy in Indy, and he sent it to me. Shipping will be a bit more because it has to be shipped and labelled as HazMat.
  7. theres a guy over on the Layitlow.com model page that makes vynil stick ons. I had some made a while back, but I am currently out.
  8. resolution on a $500 unit wont be very good. Ive see some of the MakerBot machines working and its grainey and requires too much work to make a presentable piece.
  9. Neat, Ive got 3 of these right now, 1 running and 2 for parts however in Canada they are branded as Epics, mine are all Epic GTs
  10. yes, blue metallic vynil
  11. Here is my 1:1 Starting point for Reference. The build is how I want the 1:1 to turn out.
  12. Thanks guys. Hope to get the rest of the engine wiredup tonight and start on the suspension
  13. I am in the process of building my 1:1 Medium Maui Blue 67 SS, so I decided to do a model build at the same time. I had a local paint supply mix me up the paint which came out great. I then foiled the car and hit it with a 1k clear. Interior is done to represent the blue vynil, and the floor was flocked. My 1:1 will have a 396, whereas the AMT kit uses a 427 (which to the eye is the same) I also used a Resin aftermarket flat hood instead of the incredibly rare in the 1:1 world 427 hood. Engine is detailed with a MCG Photo etch set and will feature a Fireball Modelworks Q-jet and 275/60/15s on MRC cragars. Ive added a FatKidd prewired distributor also. As with all of my builds Mold lines were sanded and removed prior to painting. Resin "Organ" speakers in the package tray
  14. Ive been working on this Copo Nova for sometime now, doing some detailing here and there. I added some MAS aluminum tall valve covers to the kit 427, and changed out the intake and carb. Added a pre-wired distributor and started on fuel lines etc. The car is painted in Burnished Brown; ive always liked the oddball colors and am a fan of browns. Tires are AMT parts back redlines with kit wheels. I made shackles out of strip styrene to bring the back end up rather than using the generic lift blocks that the kit supplies. I also robbed some traction bars from a Camaro kit they still need to be repainted.
  15. Id like to see them dig up some tooling for a first gen Deuce. 62-65 Nova, wagon, hardtop I dont even care....Id just like more of them. Mind you I have 20+ Orig ones +rebuilders.... Id always like to have more.
  16. Fireball and also Clearly Scale are always great to deal with.
  17. +1 for speed city resin. Ive bought allot from them over the last 5 or so years and its always great quality and around the 3-4 week wait ( and im in Canada)
  18. up here in Sask. Canada the same 41 Chevy truck, 67 GTO, and foose gtx have been on clearance for over a year ... $19.99 regular $37.99
  19. I really need to get finishing my JoHan 66 Cadillac Hearse. Started it about 7 years ago. Extended the inner wheel tubs back to the firewall for a full show look. VCG resins 572 Dual EFI with a scratchbuilt coffin cover. I cut the suspension apart which was molded in so that I could use 67 Impala rear end etc.
  20. for the duct work, use styrene get some fine wire and wrap it, and put heat shrink tubing over it...... use the finest wire you can get. should look pretty convincing.
  21. Greg Wann, I had PM`d you about one of these a while back, did you get it?
  22. Looks great as per usual Fred. I really like the oddball colored cars. Color looks great on it and the detail is excellent!
  23. Look up Jeral Teirney on facebook for this conversion^
