My paint order was paid for on August 16th..... and shows that the Label was printed on August 22nd, and ive gotten the tracking number, but nothing has shown up. It says that its 2 day parcel, and ive got it being sent to a buddy in Florida...... nothing yet. I really like the product and I understand that he is backed up, but I bit more communication via a bulletin on his site or something informing customers would have been nice. Ill wait for it to arrive though, no biggie as long as It shows up eventually, im a pretty patient person.

When did color fall out of favor?

Samsung, washers and dryers are available in burnt orange, ruby red, and royal blue metallic. Sold lots of them working at a furniture store in town. -
Scale finishes paint sale
mademan replied to Sport Suburban's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
have it shipped to someone that you know in the states, and have them send it to you. I am in Canada and they do not ship to me, so when ever I ordered I had it sent to a buddy in Indy, and he sent it to me. Shipping will be a bit more because it has to be shipped and labelled as HazMat. -

Will 3d printing at home work?
mademan replied to drummerdad's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
resolution on a $500 unit wont be very good. Ive see some of the MakerBot machines working and its grainey and requires too much work to make a presentable piece. -
Neat, Ive got 3 of these right now, 1 running and 2 for parts however in Canada they are branded as Epics, mine are all Epic GTs

AMT 1967 Impala Super Sport - Fairly Stock build

Thanks guys. Hope to get the rest of the engine wiredup tonight and start on the suspension -
I am in the process of building my 1:1 Medium Maui Blue 67 SS, so I decided to do a model build at the same time. I had a local paint supply mix me up the paint which came out great. I then foiled the car and hit it with a 1k clear. Interior is done to represent the blue vynil, and the floor was flocked. My 1:1 will have a 396, whereas the AMT kit uses a 427 (which to the eye is the same) I also used a Resin aftermarket flat hood instead of the incredibly rare in the 1:1 world 427 hood. Engine is detailed with a MCG Photo etch set and will feature a Fireball Modelworks Q-jet and 275/60/15s on MRC cragars. Ive added a FatKidd prewired distributor also. As with all of my builds Mold lines were sanded and removed prior to painting. Resin "Organ" speakers in the package tray

Ive been working on this Copo Nova for sometime now, doing some detailing here and there. I added some MAS aluminum tall valve covers to the kit 427, and changed out the intake and carb. Added a pre-wired distributor and started on fuel lines etc. The car is painted in Burnished Brown; ive always liked the oddball colors and am a fan of browns. Tires are AMT parts back redlines with kit wheels. I made shackles out of strip styrene to bring the back end up rather than using the generic lift blocks that the kit supplies. I also robbed some traction bars from a Camaro kit they still need to be repainted.

How About Some Stalled Projects?
mademan replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I really need to get finishing my JoHan 66 Cadillac Hearse. Started it about 7 years ago. Extended the inner wheel tubs back to the firewall for a full show look. VCG resins 572 Dual EFI with a scratchbuilt coffin cover. I cut the suspension apart which was molded in so that I could use 67 Impala rear end etc. -
for the duct work, use styrene get some fine wire and wrap it, and put heat shrink tubing over it...... use the finest wire you can get. should look pretty convincing.
