That looks great! I enjoyed building mine except for assembling the roll cage - even CA glue didn’t help a lot. Congrats!

Very nice! Coincidentally, I am getting ready to build the jungle Camaro myself. To get ready, I am building the Revell Hawaiian right now so that I can figure out what modifications to make when I build my second one and have to adapt the tin and the Camaro body to fit. Some of those comp resin bodies do have slightly strange proportions. I have a resin Camaro body that I bought off eBay years ago. No idea who the caster was, but it looks pretty good.

All 3 are fantastic

I am planning to build Revell's '29 Ford Roadster with a Hemi instead of the kit engine, but I still want over the frame headers, similar to what is shown in the pic (the kit engine is an SBC so the kit's over the frame headers won't work with a hemi.) Replicas and Miniatures of MD offers them, but they are $8 plus $12 shipping, and I don't need any other R&M products, so $20 seems like a lot for a pair of headers. 3DScaleParts on eBay offers a set for $15 and $4 shipping, so that is not much better. Any other resin, 3D printed or kit parts you can point me to? Thanks!

I was really liking the fairly regular cadence of issues that I believe started when Larry got on board. And I also think the magazine does an amazing job of integrating content from the forums here into the magazine itself - probably better than anyone else with any sort of print publication. But now it looks like at least 4 months between issues. I guess I have to realize that the magazine is really a bit of a hobby itself for the folks putting it together. Hoping there is an issue 226 coming.

I assume R2 people are smart enough to figure out whether they will make more money selling fewer kits and a higher price, or whether more kits at a lower price is better for them. Personally, I have to really, really want it to fork over $34 or so for a kit with tooling that was paid for back in 1972 or whenever. All that said, R2 is putting out a LOT of ads with deep discounts on kit prices recently. Makes me wonder if sales are slower than anticipated and they need to either bring in some cash or get deadweight out of their warehouse.

That is great! Flathead, and esp the blower, look so good. And if that kit is anything like the Mooneyes dragster, it is fiddly! Nice job. -
Really nice!

Great work! And nice job with the white pens. -
I’m thinking the Streaker might good for the upcoming 24 hour build. Hopefully the new parts fit well.

Both are super-beautiful!! -
Spectacular! All thumbs up!?

Picked this up at Ollie’s as an easy way way to add a C7 ‘Vette to my collection. Paint is Tamiya Silver Leaf topped with Fire Scale paint Porsche Amethyst. The Amethyst went on great, but seems much darker than the Porsche color - It’s hard to get a decent pic of it. Topcoat is Testors Extreme wet look clear.

Larry Greenberg reviewed this kit in the latest MCM. It goes together very nicely with little fiddling needed. I airbrushed mine in Fire Scale Paints BMW Snapper Rocks Blue with Tamiya clear from the rattle can for the gloss. BMW hasn’t offered that color on the real car but I like it so I went with it.

Nice! And what a throwback! -
Looks nice! I’ve got a couple AMT millennium editions waiting to be built too!

That is a neat build. Did you take the "bright" pix in direct sun? If so, you can get brighter pix that are not too bright by using indirect sunlight. The interior looks fantastic!
