That's quite a prolific list. I admire your discipline to keep your projects alive and finish that many in a year and still build at a high standard. Nice work.

Yeah, she was magnetic and a good choice for that movie. The plot itself is a little disturbing, but also insightful about how an otherwise well meaning man can be led so astray so blindly.

Brilliant. A wonderful and clever recreation of a subject seldom modeled.

Local time means your time. Whatever time midnight is where you're building your model. No customization for you eh, so you're joining the unwashed?

There's a way to do it. I saw Bonnie Raitt in concert and she was here in support of a hot button political issue and only about two times did she mention it during the concert, mostly as gratitude to the hosts (over the ramp of a song) and a quick 5-word jab about the issue. It did NOT stop the pace of the concert and even though I opposed the issue, I enjoyed the show immensely. It comes down to how much an entertainer respects their entire audience.

I never cared for his musical treatments, performance or politics, but after discovering great songs done by other bands that he'd written, I had to concede he's an accomplished and respectable song writer. Side note... After a performance here in Fargo some years ago, members of the E Street Band, one by one drifted on over to a bar across the river in Moorhead, MN and sat in with the house band. Jerry's Bar didn't know what was coming, nor did anyone there. The Boss showed up later for a couple songs. By the time word hit the streets, the bar was closing, but some lucky folks got a great intimate party.

In a word... Wow!

I wonder if a '49 Merc could also help cut corners. -
Beautiful work on some very rare subjects.

Yup, totally. I love that big space-filling motor. Really grounds the whole piece. The paint, of course, is a given. 10's my friend.

That's pretty much how I remember them. That's why, in the 80's I never wanted to own one because I never saw one that wasn't totally beat on. Nice work.

THE OFFICIAL CannonBall Run 2020 theme thread!
Lunajammer replied to disconovaman's topic in Community Builds
If it's to be a Cannonball racer there will almost certainly have be some modifications to a stock street car, unless your choice is already a street legal performance car. -
Okay scofflaws, the poll is up. There are still one or two finishers who didn't get their entries posted. I contacted them a few days ago, but this is where it stands. Because the entry numbers are within the parameters of the MCM polling feature, we don't have to go outside our "neighborhood" to vote, like we did last year. So follow along and we'll close the poll when Jantrix and I feel like voting has dried up, which is usually about 10days to two weeks.

Welcome to the poll that decides who wins the coast-to-coast Cannonball Run (Sea to Shining Sea Trophy Dash). Please click HERE (Completed Racers thread) to take a look at all the beauty shots of the finishers and read what they have to say about their projects, then enter the voting booth. All forum members are invited to vote.

That's a beauty. The custom paint is very sophisticated. Love the restraint when we know you could've done more.

Issue #206, Contest Issue, MAILED!!!
Lunajammer replied to Gregg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I owe Gregg a big apology for jumping to a wrong conclusion about my expiration issue which is 212, not 206. I misread the label about which issue we're on and was unnecessarily concerned. Big apology, that one's on me.
