  1. Mid-engine PT Cruiser with Audi R8 engine and chassis. Home made woody decals.
  2. The Fixx, 1984. Lead singer Cy Curnin was in a full leg cast, yet he still hobbled around through his concert movements. Weird.
  3. I love the imagineering. Lots of work ahead but you're halfway there already. Looking forward to more. Just peanut gallery opinion, but I wonder if sail panels could help balance the back with the front angles? Something clever could help fill the big blank spot it creates.
  4. First rate stuff going on here. Looking forward to more.
  5. Beautiful and clean. The wheels and interior look so sharp.
  6. I can see why. Dazzling.
  7. I've been blessed to keep working. I'm a graphic designer so moving my office to home may be an added blessing. More relaxed. When all this blows over I will probably keep working from home since there's no significant benefit to moving back to the office besides fellowship. Connectivity to the office server is painfully slow though.
  8. Totally on board with this one. Why all the fuss about the Aztek when this aesthetically confused little swamp rat slips quietly into the night?
  9. Thanks for the info Steve. I'm kind of glad it's moved back. Better chance that I might go, even though November is sometimes a crummy time to travel.
  10. Well that's something you don't see every day. I really like this. Not enough middle weight trucks. Reminds me of the railroad trucks I saw as a kid.
  11. Not just a great collection of well done models, but I shudder to think of the hours I'm looking at here.
  12. Yeah, this is good. I really like the pics too. The setting is great.
  13. I love what you're doing with this whole project. If it was me, I'd abandon the wood and run with this pic. I think this is a great idea, just as a steely wagon, or maybe a hint of wood as a belt line accent. Love the lines. Either way they're good ideas.
  14. Really glad to hear you're okay. Just in time be in the safety of your own home too. Just this morning I was looking at one of your builds in an old contest annual as I've been boxing up a pile of mags. Keep on keepin' on.
  15. Looks like there are ways to make this work.
  16. Mine's been in the stash for decades. I've even done a photoshop mockup of how I might convert it to a wagon. Hey, if you're gonna go domestic on a Corvette, why not go all the way?
  17. Artistic license. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but I always respect those who at least try. I like the white stripe. It's bold, but I think it helps soften the blue and also helps connect the exterior color with the white interior.
  18. IMHO nothing wears deep dish five slot mags better than the 71-72 Plymouth. Good call.
  19. Interesting. I'm not sure I've seen one built using the actual custom parts. Not as bad as I thought it might be. I've heard no love for this release, but I think I like it. Different is good right? ?
  20. Widely regarded as one of the most influential songwriters of his generation. Bob Dylan lists him as one of his favorites. Mostly a folk writer, he was a master of lyrics and his songs have been covered by a many artists. Discovered by Kris Kristofferson, he's been around since the early 70's and was often a guest on Austin City Limits. Beyond that, a difficult talent to pigeonhole in a brief description, yet had a very broad following for decades.
  21. X2. Absolutely brilliant.
  22. Like a losing a little corner of America. If he could take a peak back, I'd love to hear what he'd write from beyond. I'll bet it would be choice.
