Completed! Actually amazing with my problems, my problems not the kit.

Thank you sir. I did not either. Won this at a raffle. Cool kit but it’s curbside. Which is ok as the engine is in the rear and buried.

Wrapping her up. Needs license plates, clean up but it’s just about there. Nothing hard about this build but somehow I made it hard. For some reason , problem after problem. Not the kit but me. First problem was the first paint job was rushed with a heat gun and melted the whole roof. Fixed that, then a string of super glue was on the glass. So I rubbed her out and then the windshield cracked. Etc , etc. I was ready to put her into the trash but just kept building. Here she is so far.

This is true. My friend contacted the convention center and they said you are going to have to be brave, come early. Oh boy…..

I totally agree. I wish some of the old ways were back. I miss them. Like girls being girls and boys being boys……sorry went off subject.

I paint 1:1 cars for a living. There are soooo many beautiful colors out there but when you look in the parking lot, it’s boring. I loved the mopars of the beginning of 1970. The crazy colors . Some I did not care for but it added excitement in the parking lot and the road. Which I loved because it wasn’t boring. Cars today are like a refrigerator. People need them, that’s it. Some of us love cars, but it’s not like the 50’s and 60’s. Pick the colors you like. Not for resale. Believe me when you sell, someone will buy it. The car salesmen always say” there’s a a.. for every seat”

Super build. I am just starting to enjoy these old cars. Did the duesenberg. Just started buying the classics. Have a very small collection of them. Your build is fantastic! Color and how clean it looks. Shows the beauty and class of these automobiles. Great job!

Anyone who builds these are total artists. Modeler or real. Fantastic beauty. Great job!!!! We have a modeler Dan that builds boats/ ships. The time and skill level is beyond fantastic. My friend Mark builds canoes and I see what he does . Bending wood ? How does anyone do that? You guys have not only skill but it takes an artist to make these.

WOW brings back the old days! My father had a great friend that was one of the promoters for Bill Graham. We lived in the Bay Area so there was a lot. Probably saw over 100 before the end of the 70’s since they were free tickets for us. So back then I remember Grand Funk Railroad was at winterland in San Francisco. Pretty great. Doobie brothers were great. Jefferson Airplane/ starship was pretty good. Jethero Tull was good. (Ian Anderson).Peter Framton was pretty good. Elton John day on the green was great. Too many too list. Later Phil Collin’s was great. U2 in Colorado was great. Still today I have a high school friend working for Steve Winn and she gets us tickets in Vegas. Been very lucky with concerts. The one that stands out is Phil Collin’s. The best one in Vegas is the Blue Man Group.

Painted the black.

Something did not look correct. The kit did not have disc brakes. I added the brakes from the parts box. Needed to modify again to get them to fit. Looks more complete.

This is a difficult kit. A lot of parts! You have done a fantastic job fitting these body panels. You have the doors to the roof fitting great. Was that a challenge? Every car I have seen completed has the doors not fitting to the roof. There are sooo many parts to the body and you have done a brilliant job of fitting them. Bravo! I say this as I have had this kit for years and still have not touched it. I have built several mfh kits and not this tamiya kit. Man your car looks super. Great job!
