Great job! I’m slacking a lot! Took me several weeks just to finish the turbos on the 917/30. You have completed a lot! -
Model factory hiro Porsche 917/30

Hello Chris! Yeah after about a year I thought it might be good to start this up again. I look at the instructions and get a little dizzy. Holy cow. Getting a 1/8 Ferrari GTO from Mark soon so I might have to put this away and do the Ferrari. We shall see. Plus still waiting on parts for the 1/8 gull wing. Restoring a 1:1 1967 mustang GT. And restoring my 1965 mustang. So a little busy. Thank you for the pic not Farrah. Had this poster and the 917/30 in my bedroom as kid. -

Love your camaro -
Beautiful. Love the color. In our area long ago, this color was very rare. This color and the maroon made the mustang look very rich. Great job

Hello Bainford, it’s a 1/4 scale handmade aluminum body of the 250 GTO. And this is it. Only a body, it’s beautiful but holly cow. Someone will buy it. I have been approached by a guy from Dubai at the NNLWest that goes to model shows here in the west coast, wanting to buy models. He has bought a few. He loves 1/8 scale cars. He said when I want to sell my GT500 and 427 cobra I’m to contact him. He bought my friends Jaguar. It was painted silver and he had one just like it in 1:1. Went for $7500. So there are people out there with deep pockets.

Hello Claude. I had the pleasure of going to bonneville and watching Al Teague run his 392 hemi streamliner win a class record that held for over 20 years. Maybe more. Went to his house ( in Los angles) to see it before it ran. My friend Charlie Hamilton, was the tuner, he had a Honda dealership called Sierra Motors in Lake Tahoe, and I had an automotive restoration shop called Sierra Design . We did very well. I restored Charlie’s 32 fords and all of his other cool cars. But since I knew Charlie, he invited me to see it run. Fun stuff. Your model looks like the real deal. It could run at bonneville. Great job ! Another fantastic car out of your design studio.

The collection is not as big when Bill Harrah was alive. But they have a nice collection of cars. I’m going to the Adam Corolla podcast. That will be cool. It’s sold out. Dinnner , drinks etc with Adam and his special guest. They will not say who it is, but Jay Leno will be here the same day to perform Saturday night at the Nugget. We’re thinking it might be Jay. We’re hoping so.

Allen sorry about your brother. Your builds are super. I had prostate cancer and did not even know it. Had a stroke around 13 years ago , so I have to see my doctor every 3 months. And have to do blood work also. My doctor found my numbers were off. So I went to a urologist and I found out I had prostate cancer. If I did not go to my doctor for bloodwork I would have never known and would not be here today. As men we are very stubborn and try to shake off our bad feelings. If you feel bad, go to the doctor and have a look. You are right about the over 50 thing. Thanks for the heads up .Allens right, get checked out if your feeling bad. Might save your life. -

Ok restarting the 917/30. This will be a long project. The engine has the plug wires installed. Exhaust next. Here we go again. -

Fantastic! Art, modeling skills, patience and history. I’m with Nacho Z, I love this but my skill and patience and modeling skills and history are not on par with this. Great job on a totally cool ship. -
Very beautiful

Very nice! Not an easy kit even though it’s a tamiya kit. Great job! Color is perfect, fit is great! If you guys have this kit, you know what I’m talking about. I have opened the box, took a deep breath….. looked and put the lid back on. Painting alone is a project. Great job on a complex build.
