  1. A real stunner Tyrone. Even more than the last one. As I've said before and it still holds true, each of your currnet builds is my favorite. What have you got in store for us next?
  2. Agree. The 5lb'er looks just about right. I'm hoping the finished surface is smooth enough for a light coat of paint without too much fuss of sanding and prepping.
  3. Great progress and update Joe. You got it going on. Looking forward to your body work and paint. Got something wild in mind? Do you know if these had actual steering? They must have but in all of the pictures of Tommy Ivo's and others, I haven't seen any steering knuckles or anything resembling steering mechanisms. Maybe they guided the vhicle by applying the brakes on one side although that just doesn't seem practical at all.
  4. Nice looking build Rob. I saw the hauler / trailer you built also and its a beauty as well. I've built a few items for this dio tool and have just one more item to finish and they're ready to ship. I'll post pics before they get packaged. Are you building anything else for this?
  5. That is one sweet looking '64. I've started a '63 and hope it turns out half as well.
  6. That came out great Mark. Beautiful build. On the subject line change - you need to go into the first post and use the Advnced feature and then you can edit or change your subject line.
  7. This looks great Mark. I need to get one of those Starliners because I'm building a '63 Galaxie and the chassis in that kit leaves a lot to be desired. I just can't build a curbside. I don't have it in me.
  8. That yellowreally pops and I'll just bet the interior lighting doesn't do it justice. Can't wait to see it with the stripes and out in the sunlight. A real beauty Tyrone.
  9. Amazing. I'm still having a difficult time getting my arms around the idea of a 3D printer. I'm looking forward to better pictures.
  10. Me too Charlie. I may just have to look into this seriously.
  11. Love the mailbox. Now that's cool right there. Tim - thanks for posting those pics of the A/SRs. Both are real beauties.
  12. Although i know you've put quite a bit of work into fabricating on this, it still looks like its just falling into place. Sweet ride Darryl.
  13. Thanks Charlie, Christopher and Dan. This was a fun and different build and I learned I can turm clear red spruces into shape and can make aluminum rings on this one. I'll be using those again.
  14. That is a bit rough but it sure is cool to have your first car. Any plans on restoring it?
  15. As promised, here is the pic of the steering wheel. Comments welcome.
  16. OK, I was having a challenging time trying to figure out what to do for a steering wheel for this little thing. Then it dawned on me that an old wind-up watch has larger gears with three or four spokes. The nice guy at the watch repair shop gave me one but he was really confused on what I wanted it for. Here's a pic of the untouched gear. I'll post a pic tonight of the finished and installed wheel.
  17. Oh yeah. Looking sharp Art. You're still in Teresi mode, I see.
  18. Thanks for the comments guys. They're really appreciated.
  19. This is so nice Ace. Glad to see you back at it.
  20. Thanks Charlie. The figure is from the resin Holiday line at your local Ace Hardware. That's why he's wearing a hoodie. I bought a few different figures because they appeared to be close to the correct scale. In reviewing the pictures I posted, I saw that his pointing arm was too long so I've shortened it a bit.
  21. Hi guys. Been working on and off for a while now and have put some concentrated time to get this one done. Been building this for the SLM vintage dio along with a few other items which have been completed with the exception of one. Couple of items of interest are the rims are from slot car wheelie wheels capped off with 1/24 scale early Ford wire wheel center caps that were painted and BMF'd, front and rear light trim rings were actually turned on my Dremel Stylus from aluminum tubing as well as the red styrene taillights. Decals were created by myself and printed by Joseph at Fireball Models. They came out awesome and he's great to work with. Just need to make the steering wheel from an old watch gear so I need to visit a few garage sales for an old watch. This is far enough along though, that I'm calling it done. Enjoy and comments welcome.
  22. Liking the way you're progressing Art. Good stuff.
  23. Yep, this is really nice Jesse. Thanks for posting. Need to build one of these myself one day.

Nice Marty. I have no comment on your window sticker other than your build just dropped a couple of notches on the cool list.
  25. So is this one going to be raffled too? If so, how do I enter? I'd love to display this. Really great job on this Rich. Love it. For some reason I have a hankerin' for a Dew.
