  1. Nice work every single one. This is a WOW!!!!! moment.
  2. Sometimes all the parts are not supplied in the kit to build what I am truly after, so I wait until I can find what I need to finish a vision. Other times I lose parts in the process and put the project aside. Still other times I get overwhelmed with the difficulty I have created by building too much extra detail and becoming over involved, like spending 4 hours to build a header that is just right but, I need two. And finally other times I just start out with a real piece of you-know-what and just can't bring myself to finish it.
  3. Thanks guys.
  4. It's going back in the garage, thanks for looking.
  5. A sincere thanks to all who commented, thank you very much. I found this old photo of our family car around 1951, a '41 Dodge. My Dad was a career Navy man so, we always lived near the Ocean. He was also a big Dodge man, all he ever drove until he bought a VW. Maybe some inspiration? The rust is a light rust powder the railroad guys use from LHS.
  6. It looks good to me. I really like the underside. I once tried building that kit and somehow now only have the wheels and tires. The car didn't survive. I think I painted it and stripped it then, weathered it, then distroyed it probably.
  7. Second complete build for 2014, okay to be fair I started it in 2011, yes 2011. This one has been in the body shop a while so, decided to pull it out and finish it. Working on the '65 Chevelle now. Stay tuned for more.
  8. My first completed model this year is this '41 Plymouth. Not being much of a mopar guy this is my first. Just an easy, fun kit to get me going again. It must have worked because, now I am knocking off some of my old stalled projects one by one. Stay tuned.
  9. Good stuff, I love 'em all!
  10. That Firetruck is awesome! All the others are cool too. Very good year's worth. Happy '14
  11. The added detail on the engine makes all the difference. Also love the wheels, nice move. And your paint looks flawless, nice work all around. I did one of these when they first came out with my son (it was his favorite car at the time), great kit, I may have to do another for me. One is okay, really!!!!
  12. Your model deserves a magazine cover. It received more comments in the first 24 hours than any of my posts ever! Now the number has doubled that. Your photography is amazing also. All this with four photos and you didn't even open the hood. Congatulations!!! If there were a Larry Watson award you would deserve it also.
  13. Cool, I like 'em all. Happy New Year!
  14. I always love Box Art Builds! Nice job Dave.
  15. I followed you on the '57 Ford WIP but, somehow missed the '50 Olds. That came out nice also. I still haven't got around to building one and it was on my short list for 2013. You had a good year Andre, Happy 2014.
  16. Nice builds Rob! I love the Gasser, don't think I remember it and the Roadster with the tractor grill is very cool. .Heck, I love them all! Happy New Year
  17. Nice job on all three. Happy New Year, you've got a head start on two already for '14.
  18. I have been at it all day today. Amazing how much you can rap up with a goal in mind, like midnight. I still have some unfinished builds from 2012 and back. Been working on a couple.
  19. That amount is insane!!! Nice video and I'm glad someone else counted, I lost count after 15. I remember the Beetle and the 454 pickup earlier this year. Great work on all the rest as well What a year!!! Happy 2014. What kind of coffee do you drink?
  20. Enjoyed watching you this year and especially the restoration idea. You have me searching at swap meets now for oldies. Hate to think of all the ones I've passed on thinking they were to nice to completely redo, Love the Stude and the rusty Corvette had me lol. The '29 pickup is my overall favorite. Good year for you and have another in '14,
  21. I think you nailed it Manny, with a rusty nail. I always love your work. Happy New Year!
  22. Now I'm gonna say WOW!!!! Wasn't expecting all these. You did have a good year. Nice work Blair add to the other 4, love it!
