  1. Not 100% sure, but I believe the car trailer you are talking about is the auto transport semi trailer, and its getting another run in June.
  2. Agreed, and same here, hit or miss say trying to strip Tamiya primer, sometimes it takes right off , some times it doesnt.
  3. Ive got a few more BRE inspired ones to come, while I cant take credit for the ideas, I liked them enough to want to do them myself, I am about start a Silvia S13 version, and I also have a Nissan Sunny Pick Up one planned too.
  4. Thank you everyone( still on the learning curve with the new camera, one day I will get it)
  5. I used to use the Purple Power, and it worked great, just never on lacquers, I switched to Super Clean and noticed a difference for everything, what would to take a day, took hours, stripping chrome with the Purple stuff was hit and miss, stripping chrome with Super Clean is a matter of minutes. Now, Super Clean will strip Tamiya lacquers, but it really only works when it fresh up to about four months in, after that, it takes a bit of time and probably just better off using 91% isopropyl alcohol, but even then, Ive had issues stripping Tamiya lacquers with 91% isopropyl alcohol.
  6. Honestly, they dont really match, I used clear decal paper to help blend them better, and its the lighting and such , but the decals are very close , I used Tamiya Bright Red from the can.
  7. Borrowed an image of them and made them into decals.
  8. Purple Power is a knock off brand to the Super Clean, that is why Super Clean is stronger.
  9. Purple Power, the brand name stuff, not the knock off stuff that comes in the white bottle with strip lacquer based paint. But yes, 91% Alcohol is the best way to go about it.
  10. Using a fine tip marker like a Nano-liner or Gundam marker will also work .
  11. These are some Gundam markers, as you can see, they are just markers with a fine tip, they are basically the same as a Nano-Liner marker, gundam is just a name given to them because they are marketed towards the gundam builders( is my understanding) , I will say that the gundam markers seem to work better than the Nano-Liner markers ive tried. I use them for doing panel lines, I find using them easier than trying to use a panel accent wash.
  12. its sometimes easy to miss stuff when it falls back a few pages, anyways, you are welcome Aaron.
  13. Aoshima Nissan Siliva S15 kit, Aoshima RE30 wheels.
  14. There was in fact info posted here in the review section, but no one cared for it, so the thread became dead and fell back to the 3rd page, but, you have some choices, first, a look at the kit in this this thread , or a video
  15. Very very nice
  16. Its that time again, the Shizuoka Hobby show 2016, getting a look at some the new kits coming this , so far, this is what we have, all photo credit goes to Masahiko Nakasone Tamiya From Beemax
  17. I am sorry, but I cant by that as a fact for those entire brands from one tow truck driver, sure, it could be true in his area , he tows those the most, but for what reasons, without that info, its all very meaningless . Infiniti being a part of Nissan, its hard to believe, and I use my 2001 Nissan that has 312,000 miles on it as example, and in six years Ive owned it, its never been on a tow truck.
  18. Slow progress , but its getting there, almost done with the interior , going to be honest, I cheated a bit, with all the parts that need to be in red being molded in red , I just hit that parts tree with a bit of dullcote and called it a day.
  19. Thats one heck of a toy collection
