When we bought the Focus (and the one before it) I bought the Ford accessory "bumper guard" which is basically a heavy clear plastic waterslide decal with a logo on it. I bought a plain one for the Mazda from one of the clearbra folks for less than 1/2 the price. We don't tend to drag things over the bumpers, but in case something happens the plastic takes the brunt of it and can easily be replaced. Any of us that can successfully put a large decal on a model should be able to install it, but a warm surface is needed for best results. Some of the accessory places on e-Bay also sell colored plastic (black, grey) bumper guards for many cars that are like the ones used on SUVs. I would assume that there is one for your Charger that would cover up the existing scratches and take more abuse than the bumper cover.

Kind of wonder what they have up their sleeves. The transmission crossmember is a separate part, so tooling up a B.O.P.-style one wouldn't be hard. Also, they put the Astro Ventilation vents on the decal sheet instead of molding them to the new 69 dash. Why would they do that unless they are planning another 69 Chevelle that didn't use the Astro Vents. IIRC, that would be a 4-door sedan, a wagon, an El Camino, or a 300 post.

There are no Hobby Lobby stores in Canada AFAIK. Our dear friends up North need to cross the border if they want to shop there, and that isn't happening right now with Covid. You realize that this version of the kit is a "Firebird" with no "Trans Am" decals, right?

Greg is in Vancouver B.C., and the border isn't exactly open for leisurely shopping trips right now. I am guessing he would have to drive to Bellingham, WA?

Just poor journalism with nonsensical sentences. I don't remember which outlet it was, but during the Bubba Wallace issue, he was described as, "NASCAR's only full-time black driver". Literally, that would mean that there are other drivers that are black part of the time, but he is the only driver that is black all of the time. "NASCAR's only black full-time driver" was the message they were trying to convey, I think....

There will still be large-type books? -
I see that Chris (hpiguy) uses this a lot. How does it work compared to Tamiya, other than the much smaller hole it leaves in your wallet?

You didn't specify what you were driving, and I don't know you well enough to know what you drive. When you posted this originally about the quarter being pushed to the side, I immediately thought "totaled" unless whatever you were driving was worth at least $20k and had no possibility of unseen damage. Sorry to hear about this. I have an old POS that I occasionally drive that is probably worth $2k to an insurance company, but would cost me $5k to replace.

Very nice! These are available around here at HL, and I have debated picking one up several times when there isn't anything else that catches my eye.

Do you have SmogNGo in the Bay Area? There is one right near my house and they are Test Only. I take the 94 S10 there and it's relatively painless. OBD1 vehicles need an evap system test, so it costs a little more. The other cars are 2016 and 2018, so they won't need to be inspected for a while. Newer stuff gets a quick inspection and plugged in to make sure most or all of the monitors are complete (depending on the model year ).

I was thinking that Bean-O would be a better tie-in with the Lil' Gasser. Maybe they could reissue the Ertl-era Ford Probe with a Preparation H tie-in? -
I have a Pixel 3 that takes amazing photos and videos, even in low light. It can occasionally be used to make calls and look up Hobby Lobby coupons as well. ?
